국문 초록

문화재는 우리 민족 공동체의 산물로서 우리는 이를 보존하여 원형그대로를 후손들에게 물려주어야할 책무가 있다. 하지만 최근 기후변화 등의 급변하는 자연환경과 사회적 불만 표출로 문화재를 훼손하는 사례가 급증하는 등 다양한 재난으로 인해 문화재 피해가 발생하고 있다. 효율적인 문화재 재난관리를 위해서는 과거 재난피해 사례를 분석하여 재난 피해특성을 파악하고 이를 재난관리계획 수립 시 반영해야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경제 고도성장을 이룬 1980년대 이후 30년간의 문화재 재난 피해이력을 수집하고 가용데이터를 바탕으로 문화재의 재난피해 특성을 분석하였다.

영문 초록

Cultural Heritage are the product of our ethnic community and we have the responsibility to preserve cultural Heritage and pass them down in their original form to our descendants. However, there have recently been reported cultural Heritage damages due to various disasters, such as fast-changing natural environments and increasing cases of people damaging cultural Heritage to express social discontent. For an effective disaster management for cultural Heritage, past cases of disaster damage should be analyzed to discover the characteristics of disaster damages so that the characteristics can be reflected in a disaster management plan. In this light, this study collected records of cultural Heritage damages due to disasters for the 30 years since the 1980s when Korea enjoyed a high growth of economy, and analyzed the characteristics of cultural Heritage damages due to disasters based on available data.
