천부경에서 개벽과 인간의 문제

국문 초록

이 글은 한국 전래의 경전인 천부경을 중심으로 한국 고대 사유에서 일자(一者)와 개벽, 인간의 문제를 살펴보고자 했다. 천부경에서 일자는 무형의 원리인 천도에서 현실화, 외화(外化)를 거쳐 자기의 참됨인 통일성, 곧 천지인의 일체성을 새롭게 회복하는 역사적 성격을 갖는다. 또한 천부경은 ‘인중천지일(人中天地一)’이라 하여 그 같은 일자의 통일성, 천지인 일체가 인간 안에서 인간을 통해〔人中〕 발현됨을 밝힌다. 이는 인간이 자신에게 심어진 신성인 본성을 틔워 일자를 향해 나아가 일자와 하나 됨으로써〔中一〕 이뤄진다. 일자와 인간이 함께 속하는 ‘인중천지일’에서 일자도 인간도 하늘, 땅과 그 밖의 존재자들도 제 참됨을 찾는다. 또 다른 시원, 다시 개벽이 열리는 것이다. 이로써 일자와 개벽, 인간의 관련은 다음과 같은 것으로 밝혀진다. 우주의 근본으로서 일자는 개벽과 다시 개벽의, 다함이 없는 동력이며 다시 개벽은 본래적 인간의 협력과 참여 속에 이뤄진다.

영문 초록

This article attempts to survey the problem of the One, the New Opening and human beings in the Chunbugyeong. ‘The One’ in the Chunbugyeong has its own history. It is realized from the intangible Tao, extending to heaven, earth, and human beings, which goes through development and to ultimately restores its truth, i.e. its original unification. And the Chunbugyeong clarifies that the unification of ‘The One’, which is the oneness of heaven, earth and human being, is accomplished in and through human beings. This comes about as human beings who recover their own nature head to ‘The One’ and harmonize with it. Where and when the One and human beings belong together, they themselves and other things, including heaven and earth, return to and attain their essences. At last, the New Opening occurs as the other beginning. Hereby the relation of ‘The One’, the New Opening, and human being come to light as follows: ‘The One’ is the force that is never exhausted, driving both the opening and the New Opening (the other beginning)., and the latter takes place in the cooperation and participation of human beings.
