노인복지전공생(학부)의 취업준비 경험에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인복지전공생의 취업준비 경험을 현상학적 방법을 통해 심층적으로 이해하고자 한 것이다. 노인복지전공생이 취업을 준비함으로써 겪는 고유한 경험을 심층적으로 탐색하여 취업준비경험에 관한 그들의 목소리로 드러내고 실천 및 정책적 대안을 알아보기 위해 연구하였다. 분석은 Giorgi의 기술적 현상학 연구방법을 4단계에 따라 수행하였으며, 노인복지전공대학생의 취업준비에서 겪는 경험의 구조는 최종적으로 8개의 구성요소와 28개의 하위구성요소로 도출되었다: 연구참여자의 경험 본질은 노인복지직에 대한 인식, 직업의 기준, 취업과 관련한 어두움, 취업 준비에서의 걸림돌, 나의 꿈과 가까이 다가가기 위하여 갖추어야 할 것들, 경험쌓기, 취업시 갈등인 동시에 희망인 가족, 취업ㆍ꿈ㆍ희망ㆍ실현으로 도출되었다. 연구 결과 노인복지전공생들은 열악한 환경과 낮은 보수의 노인복지직에 대한 인식과 취업 시에 요구되는 자격증, 영어공부, 스펙쌓기 등으로 힘들어 하고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 노인복지전공생들의 취업에 대한 경험 쌓기, 가족의 지지, 노인복지전공생의 긍정적인 생각이 취업준비 시에 긍정적인 의미를 부여하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 취업준비 경험을 분석하여 정책적, 실천적 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The study examined employment preparation experience of the elderly welfare students in-depth way by using phenomenological methods. By carefully investigating the job preparation that they have suffered in, the difficult employment experience can be revealed in their own rightful voice. Moreover, the study will seek for solutions to improve the related practice and policy their job preparation. The analysis was performed following the four stages of Giorgi’s descriptive and phenomenological method. In the process, the essential structure of employment preparation experiences of elderly welfare students were drawn into eight factors and twenty-eight sub-factors. The experience essence of the research participants were analyzed as follows: perception of social worker as job“, ”the standard of the profession“, ”the darkness related to the employment“, ”the obstacle in the job preparation“, ”the things to be close to my dream“, ”stacking of experiences“, ”the family of hope and conflict in employment“, ”employment, dream, hope and realization“ As a result of the research, it was revealed that the students of social welfare are suffering from the recognition of low wages on social welfare work, the qualifications required for employment, english study, speculation, etc. Experience in social work major students employment, family support, and social worker s positive thoughts have positive implications in preparing for employment. This study is meaningful in that it provided basic data for policy and practical improvement by analyzing experience of preparation for employment.
