국문 초록

본 연구에서는 노인연극이 보다 활성화되기 위한 방법으로 노인연극을 기획하는 데 있어 스토리텔링의 기법을 적용하는 방안에 대해 살펴보았다. 스토리텔링은 첫째, 극중인물(Character)과의 동화를 통한 자기 이해 및 자기 수용의 과정과 둘째, 극적 행동의 조절을 통한 감정 표현과 대인관계의 과정을 가능한다. 노인연극에서는 극중인물에 노인 자신의 모습을 투영시킬 수 있을 때 자신을 바라볼 수 있는 객관화가 이루어질 수 있다. 또한 노인연극에서의 극적 행동은 노인이 살아온 삶의 여정을 농축시킨 것이어야 한다. 노인연극은 성과 중심이 아닌 과정 중심의 연극이 되어야 하는데, 스토리 텔링은 노인들의 이야기를 유도할 수 있고, 연극 놀이를 가능하게 한다. 노인연극은 연극교육이 아닌 교육연극을 지향해야 한다. 교육연극은 과정 중심의 연극을 말하는데, 여기에는 노인들의 이야기를 이끌어 내어 그들을 극중인물로 만들고, 극적 행동을 유발시킬 수 있는 스토리텔링 과정이 가능하다. 이를 통해 자기 이해, 자기 수용 및 감정 표현과 사회성 증진 등의 다양한 효과가 나타날 수 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, we have evaluated the method of applying a story telling for planning an old men drama in order to vitalize it more active. A story telling is, first, a procedure of a self-understanding, self-acceptance through adapting himself to the character of the drama, and secondly are the procedures of personal relations and an expression of feelings by controling actions in the drama. The old men drama creates a kind of a objectification that an old man can see himself by reflecting his present figure as a character of the drama. Further, the dramatic actions in the drama should be an enrichment of his whole life journey. the old men drama shouldn’t be based on accomplishments, but based on procedures and, the story telling can induce stories of old men and can dramatize them. The old men drama should intend a drama for education, not a education for drama. A drama for education means a drama based on procedures, inducing stories of old men and characterizing them in a drama and make a story telling procedure to provoke dramatic actions. through this procedure, various effects such as increasing a self-understanding, self-acceptance, expressing his feelings, increasing a sociality etc could be taken.
