국문 초록

동아시아에 위치한 중국과 한국은 역사적으로 긴 시간동안 인적․문화교류를 이어왔다. 특히 한국과 관련된 내용은 중국 ‘正史 인 ‘26史’에 다수 기록되어 있는데, 최근 중국에서는 이 같은 내용이 정리되어 출판되기도 하였다. 그러나 ‘26 史’로 대표되는 ‘正史 는 과학적 방법을 기반으로 역사학을 연구한 것이 아니라는 한계점을 갖고 있다. 근대 이후, 중국에서는 양계초를 중심 으로 전통 역사관을 비판한 ‘新史學’이 빠르게 전개되었다. ‘신사학’은 서양 역사학 연구방법의 영향을 많이 받은 학문으로 당시 중국의 대내외 요인으로 중국내 많은 학자들로부터 관심을 받았다. 한국사 연구는 ‘신사학 연구의 한 분야로서 20세기 초부터 시작되었다. 1930년대 들어서는 한국사 연구가 새로운 연구분야로 자리매김 하였으며, 1949년 新 중국 건국이후에는 새로운 전환기를 맞이하였다. 특히, 1978년 개혁개방과 1992년 한중수교를 기점으로 한국사연구는 더욱 활발히 진행되어 양국간 증대된 인적․문화 교류만큼이나 다양하고 의미있는 연구성과물들이 나왔다.

영문 초록

China and Korea have been exchanging and sharing their cultural heritages throughout history. Existing records of the Korean peninsula can be found in the Chinese orthodox historiography. However, these published records were not written in the format of a modern historiography. In the modern period, Chinese historians started to write Chinese historiographies as a new history (sinsahak), under the influence of the western modern historical methodology and of scholars such as Liang Qichao. In China, Korean history also developed gradually as a part of the new history from the early twentieth century onward, and was established as a new academic field by the 1930s. Korean history in China further developed after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, and it enjoyed its heyday after the reform of 1978. The conclusion of the normalization treaty between China and Korea in 1992 prompted the publication of more research on Korean history.
