영문 초록

This experiment was carried out to know the effect of ethephone on inducing dihaploids from midvein culture of mature and immature haploid plants derived from anther culture of Nicotiana tabacum. Ethephone treatment increased dihaploid frequency over 10% in both young and matured haploid plants. The effect of ethephone on matured plants was higher in upper leaves than that of lower leaves while its effect on young plants was higher in lower leaves than that of upper leaves.
