영문 초록

This study was carried out to increase the frequency of plant regeneration from callus in rice anther culture. Regeneration frequency was improved when live panicles were treated with ice bags for two hours. The effect of pretreatment of ice bags, however, was not much enhanced when the pretreatment followed by cold storage of detached panicles at 4, 8 and 12℃. Regardless of the pretreatment, 4 and 8℃ were appeared as the proper temperature for storage of panicles. Relatively high frequency of green plants was observed in the periods of 4 or 8 days at all temperature levels treated.
