국문 초록

본 연구는 공공갈등이 사회적 집단갈등으로 확대ㆍ발전될 때 미칠 수 있는 사회적 파장을 고려하여 공공갈등을 유형화하고, 그에 따른 사회적 집단갈등의 영향요인과 문제를 분석ㆍ평가하며, 갈등문제를 보다 유연하게 대응하기 위한 분석모형을 제시한다. 또한 모형적용을 통해 사회적 집단갈등 발생 원인을 보다 정확하게 파악하고, 공익을 바탕으로 한 가치판단을 통해 사회적 집단갈등의 문제해결을 위한 접근전략과 모형의 기본방향을 제시한다. 본 연구의 정책적 기대효과는 조정 메커니즘 활성화, 주민의 대표성 확보 방안, 사회적 집단갈등 사례의 유형화와 체계적 분석을 통한 유사사례에 대한 유기적ㆍ적응적 대응성 확대 등을 통해 사회적 집단갈등의 관리 활성화 방안을 제시한다. 학문적 기대효과는 사회적 집단갈등의 새로운 이론체계 정립, 사회적 집단갈등의 사례분석 모형 구축과 모형에의 적용을 통해 집단갈등이 사회적 집단갈등으로 확산되는 것을 학문적으로 규명할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to build analysis model of social group conflicts cases. This model is expected to analyze, evaluate, and flexibly manage the problems of social group conflicts, providing the guidelines of basic strategies for the problem solving. This research is important since it opens up a new paradigm by providing the new theoretical perspectives, analysis criteria, and strategies through shedding new lights on the previous public conflicts management paradigm. In addition, the case studies in this research suggest the actual model for social group conflicts and even provides precautionary measures for the future social group conflicts. This research is expected to improve the social group conflict management by providing alternative ways of conflict management such as revitalization of coordinating mechanism, securement of the representative local residents, expansion of systematic and adaptive responsiveness to similar cases, and contributions to making road maps to conflict process and establishing the related laws and institutions. Academically, this research contributes to building a new theoretical perspective for the social group conflicts, finding important factors, and investigating the expansion of group conflicts to social group conflicts.
