국문 초록

전세계의 많은 나라들이 급격한 고령화 사회로 진입하고 있다. 대한민국은 2017년에 65세 인구가 14%를 넘어서 고령사회(aged society)에 진입하 였으며 2026년에 65세 인구가 20%를 넘어서는 초고령 사회(super-aged society)에 진입할 것으로 예상된다. OECD 국가와 동북아시아 3개국인 대한 민국, 일본, 중국의 인구변화를 살펴본다. 2014년에 진행된 대한민국의 노인실태조사 결과를 분석하여 대한민국의 노인들이 처한 상황을 살펴보았다. OECD와 아시아 3개국의 자살현황과 대한민국의 노인자살 현황을 살펴보고 노인자살을 줄일 수 있는 방법을 고찰하였다. 시스템 다이내믹스를 활용하여 노인자살의 인과관계를 살펴보고 노인자살을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안을 고찰하였다. 초고령화 사회에서 더 나은 대안적 미래의 가능성을 제시한다. 동아시아에서 가능한 세가지 미래 고령사회의 대안을 제시한다. 1) 많은 나라들이 노인 연령의 기준을 상향 변경할 것이다. 2) 초고령 사회에서 발생하는 문제를 해결하기 위해서 “민주대동사회(民主大同社會)”를 구현하여 서로 돌보는 돌봄사회를 제안한다. 3) 초고령 사회에 의해서 동아시 아의 국가 판도가 변할 것이며, 동북아시아에서 대한민국, 중국 동북지방, 몽고, 극동 러시아를 포함하는 “Great Korea”의 출현을 예상해 본다.

영문 초록

Many countries in the world are entering aged society rapidly. The Republic of Korea is expected to enter the aged society in 2017 when the 65-year-old population exceeds 14% of total population. In 2026, Korea is expected to enter the super-aged society with the 65-year-old population over 20%. We examine the population change of the OECD countries and three northeastern Asia countries: Korea, Japan, and China. The results of the survey on the status of the elderly in Korea in 2014 were analyzed and the situation of the elderly in Korea was examined. We examined the suicide rate in the OECD and three north eastern Asian countries. We reported the causal relationship of suicide by using system dynamics and examined ways to manage suicide effectively. We suggest a better alternative future society in an aged society. We propose three possible solutions of aged future societies in East Asia: 1) Many countries will adjust the standard of the old age. 2) We also propose so called “Democratic Daedong Society(民主大同社會) and Mutual Caring Society”. 3) Finally, we expect a “New Nomad Society and Self-Adjustment of the World”. In this scenario we expect emerging of a new union of countries such as “Great Korea” in North-Eastern Asia initiated by super aged society.
