영문 초록

Syntactic Compound Words in Middle Korean include: First, those that make verbs: (1) the adverbial form of verb plus another verb (차 둪다), (2) adverb plus verb (닫나다), (3) noun plus verb (깃깃다); Second, those that make nouns: (1) noun plus noun, which are subdivided, according to the relation between the two elements, into: (a) coordinating compound noun, (b) subordinating compound noun (c) derivative compound noun, one of the two components acting much like an affix, (2) attributive adjective or attributive form of verb plus noun, (3) adverb plus noun, (4) compounds of numerals; Third, those that make attributive adjectives, and those that make adverbs.
