1인 가구와 다인 가구의 라이프스타일이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 노후준비를 매개로 하여 -

국문 초록

본 연구는 1인 가구의 증가로 인한 사회적인 변화 흐름 속에 1인 가구만을 대상으로 연구할 경우 1인 가구의 특성인지 다인 가구 속에서 살고 있는 1인 가구의 동일한 특성인지 확인할 수 없어 1인 가구와 다인 가구를 구분하여 연구함으로써 각각의 라이프스타일에 따라 삶의 만족도나 노후준비에 대한 영향관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 25세~59세의 1인 가구와 다인 가구를 대상으로 하여 915개의 표본 분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 라이프스타일은 긍정추구성, 목표추구성, 절약추구성, 자극추구성, 선택전가추구성, 여가추구성, 럭셔리추 구성의 7가지 속성별로 나타났다. 경로모형과 Wald 검정량 및 효과분해를 분석한 결과 긍정추구성, 선택전가추 구성, 여가추구성의 경우 삶의 만족에 대한 라이프스타일의 영향력이 노후준비에 의하여 부분 매개되었다. 선택 전가추구성의 경우 다른 라이프스타일과 달리 노후준비를 매개로 하여 억제효과가 나타났다. 목표추구성, 절약추 구성, 자극추구성, 럭셔리추구성과 삶의 만족의 매개경로투입에서 노후준비가 라이프스타일과 삶의 만족과의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 1인 가구와 다인 가구의 다중집단 분석결과 선택전가추구성과, 여가추구 성, 럭셔리추구성에서 집단 간의 차이가 나타났다. 라이프스타일 속성에 따라 노후준비나 삶의 만족도가 달라지 고, 라이프스타일 속성으로 인한 1인 가구와 다인 가구의 집단별 효과도 차이가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 1인 가구와 다인가구에 따라 적합한 노후준비를 위한 계획을 세우도록 각각의 라이프스타일을 파악하여, 그들의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 방향과 교육이 요구됨을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the influential relationship of single-person households and multi-person households with life satisfaction and later life preparation by distinguishing and researching the lifestyles of both. Considering the social changes accompanying the increase in single-person households, it is impossible to confirm whether certain characteristics are distinct to this group, or identical with single-person households within a multi-person household, by only researching the former. A total of 915 sample analyses were conducted on single-person households (age range: 25–59 years) and the following seven lifestyle attributes were found: affirmationseeking, goal-seeking, frugality-seeking, stimulation-seeking, choice shift-seeking, leisure-seeking, and luxury-seeking. Analyzing the course model, Wald test, and degradation effect, the results showed that the impact of lifestyle on life satisfaction was partially mediated by later life preparation in the affirmation-, choice shift-, and leisure-seeking attributes. In contrast to other lifestyles, the choice shift-seeking attribute showed a depressor effect in the mediation of later life preparation. Later life preparation completely mediated the relationship between lifestyle and life satisfaction with the insertion of a mediated pathway that includes life satisfaction and the goal-, frugality-, stimulation-, and luxury-seeking attributes. The results of a multiple group analysis on single-person households and multi-person households showed differences between groups in the choice shift-, leisure-, and luxury-seeking attributes. Later life preparation and lifestyle satisfaction changed per lifestyle attribute, and there were differences in effectiveness between single-person households and multi-person households according to the different lifestyle attributes. The results of this research suggest that it is necessary to understand the lifestyles of single- and multi-person households in order to establish appropriate plans for later life preparation, and that education that can help to improve their quality of life is required.
