직업에 복귀한 산재장애인의 우울감에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 직업에 복귀한 산재장애인의 우울감에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 원 직장복귀자와 타 직장복귀자 집단으로 구분하여 살펴보고 이 결과를 토대로 보다 효과적인 개입을 위한 제언을 하는데 있다. 조사대상자는 치료가 종결된 후 산재보험 장해등급을 받고 직장에 복귀한 산재장애인들로 원 직장복귀자 153명과 타 직장복귀자 130명이다. 분석 결과, 원 직장복귀자에 비해 타 직장복귀자들의 우울점수가 높고, 원 직장복귀자들에 비해 타 직장복귀자들이 교육정도, 주관적 경제상태, 장해등 급, 건강상태, 장애수용, 정규직 여부, 현 직장근무기간, 직무만족도, 직장에서의 사회적 지지 등이 더 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 우울 관련 요인을 분석한 결과를 보면, 원 직장복귀자의 경우 장애수용도와 직무만족도가 낮을수록 우울점수가 높게 나타난 반면, 타 직장복귀자의 경우는 교육수준이 낮을수록, 장해등급이 높을수록, 장애수용도와 자기효능감이 낮을수록 우울점수가 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 직장에 복귀한 산재장애인의 우울문제 개입 시, 두 집단 모두 장애수용을 높이는 데 초점을 두어야 하며, 집단별로는 원 직장복귀자집단은 직무만족도를 높이는 데, 타 직장복귀자 집단은 교육수준과 장해등급을 고려하는 동시에 자기 효능감을 향상시키는 데 집중할 필요가 있음을 보여준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore factors associated with depression by the type of return-to-work i.e. return to pre-injury job and work at a new firm among workers with on-the-job injuries in South Korea. Participants consisted of 283 Korean workers with injuries. Analyses were conducted using multiple linear regression to examine factors related to depression. The results showed workers returning to pre-injury job were vulnerable to depression than workers who employed at a new firm. Also, regression results suggested that among workers returning to pre-injury job, the acceptance of disability and job satisfaction had statistically significant association with depression, which accounted for 24.8% of the variance in depression. Meanwhile, among workers who employed at a new firm, factors such as education, the grade of disability, the acceptance of disability and self-efficacy were associated with depression which accounted for 44.4% of the variance in depression. These findings provided policy makers and practitioners with practical information for intervening depression among injured workers with disabilities returning to work.
