대외진출 경로의 역사적 패턴에 관한 연구

국문 초록

한국의 대외진출은 세계사적으로 특별한 의미를 갖는다. 특히 한국기업은 2006년 수출 3,000억 달러를 돌파하였다. 이는 세계 11위로 실질적으로는 9위를 차지하였다. 한국의 국가인구, 영토면적, 지정학적 위치 등 어느 요인하나 한국에 유리한 것이 없는 상황에서 이룬 실적은 연구의 대상이 될 만한 것이다. 해외진출경로는 역사적으로 다양한 변천 패턴을 보이고 있다. 한국의 역사를 크게 삼국시대, 고려시대, 조선시대로, 시대별로 구분하고, 고문헌에 의하여 시대별 해외진출경로의 변천과정을 분석하였다. 또한 시대별로 대외진출에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 환경결정요인, 해외상권요인, 거래상품확장요인, 진출중심지이동요인, 공적시스템요인, 해운기술발달요인 등의 요인별로 분석하였다. 해외진출경로는 시대별로 큰 특성을 보이는데 우선 강력한 중앙정부의 힘이 집중될 때 보다는 비교적 시장경제의 원리가 작동된 시기(통일신라 말)에 해외진출경로가 확장 되었으며, 그 범위도 확장된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공적시스템 사적시스템이 대외진출에 유용한 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 역사는 반복되므로 글로벌기업에 대한 정책은 시장경제를 기반으로 한 자유경쟁체제에 역점을 두어야 하며, 무한경쟁시대에 대응하는 기업, 인력,정책의 국제화 정책이 수립되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Korea s advance Loward foreign countries has a special meaning in the World History. On factor to support this may be the fact that Korean company s cxports surpassed the 30billion dollar mark. At the present Korea is ranked as 11th in exports although the new numbers pushes Korea to the 9th place in world exporl rankings. This achievement which has been accomplished without any advantage factors such as population. country size or geographical location is therefore indeed a case worth for a study. The export channels show various transition patterns throughout history. Korea s history can be divided roughly into the three Kingdoms dynasty, Goryco dynasty, and Joseon dynasty. According to its ancient documents of each dynasty they analyzed the transition process of the export channels categor ized according to dynasty. Furthermore, they also annlyzed the factors which have effect on the foreign advancement(exports) such as environmental factors. foreign commercial rights, factor of transactional product expansion. factor of main target market shift. formal system, progress in shipping ability factor, etc. categorized according to dynasty. The export channel, looked al according to dynasty, shows specific differences regarding the extension of those channels, It shows that those channels are more likely to expand under a comparative market economy(during the Shilla Dynasty) rather than under a more government centered economy. It also shows the formal and informal systems to be proven useful in the foreign market entries. Since history repeats itself Global Business policies should emphasize the free market system based on market economics and therefore establish internationalization policies regarding companies. manpower, and standing policies to cope with the age of limitless competition.
