국문 초록

디지털 혁명, 즉 IT 기술의 지수적 발달은 미래연구의 효율성과 정확도및 미래연구의 참여도를 높이기 위해, 미래연구에서 IT 시스템의 활용도를 높이고 있다. 국내의 경우 단위 기능을 구현하기 위한 IT 시스템에 대한 접근이 주를 이뤘으나, 해외 경우에는 보다 종합적인 미래연구 지원 시스템에 대한 실무적이고 학문적 접근이 존재해왔다. 소위 제4차 산업혁명을 IT 시스템을 활용한 공정의 디지털화라고 보았을 때, 미래연구의 디지털라이제 이션 즉, 미래연구 과정의 디지털화에 대한 체계적 고민이 필요하다. 그러나 미래연구의 전체 공정의 관점에서 IT 시스템을 접근한 경우는 찾기 어려웠 다. 이에 미래연구와 디지털 시스템 간의 관계 유형을 5가지로 분류하고각 유형에 대한 내용을 상세 제시했다. 미래연구 지원 시스템의 유형을 분류 하고, 마지막에 미래연구의 디지털라이제이션을 위해, 미래예측 전 공정에 대응하는 IT 시스템을 제시했다. 더불어 인공지능을 이용한 미래예측을 검토했다. 미래예측을 ‘복잡한 미래에 대한 대화’와 ‘바람직한 미래를 만들기 위한 인적 네트워크’로 정의한다면, 인공지능으로 미래를 예측한다는 것일 있을 수 없다는 점을 다시 확인했다.

영문 초록

The exponential development of ICT technologies, digital revolution or digital transformation in other word, has fabricated for the foresight and futures studies to employ ICT systems in themselves. But the employment of ICT system in futures studies is usually limited to the single function or method. Though some researchers have endeavor to approach the overall ICT based foresight, it is difficult to find the attempt to apply ICT systems to the processes of foresight based on foresight methodology. The 4th industrial revolution postulates the digitalization on all kinds of business domains and scholar disciplines including futures studies and foresight. So we tried to illuminate the five relationship patterns between futures studies and ICT system by matrix and elucidate their meanings and circumstances. We overviewed the worldly representative ICT systems for futures studies and proposed the ICT integrated process oriented systems based on foresight methodology processes, KAIST Futures Management Methodology Framework.
