일반학급 상황에서의 자폐 범주성 장애학생의 사회적 상호작용 중재에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

연구는 일반학급 상황에서 실시된 자폐 범주성 장애학생의 사회적 상호작용 중재의 연구 동향을 분석함으로써 통합된 자폐 범주성 장애학생의 사회성 발달을 위한 교육적 중재의 연구 방향과 현장의 적용 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 분석 대상 기준에 따라 최근 10년(1999~2008) 간의 국외 실험논문 16편을 선정하여 중재의 실행요소, 중재 전략, 또래 매개 지원과 성인 매개 지원, 중재의 효과에 대하여 내용을 살펴보았다. 그 결과　자폐 범주성 장애학생의 사회적 상호작용 중재는 유․초등에 집중되어 있고, 또래 훈련 프로그램, 상황 이야기, 행동 중재, 비디오 모델링 등과 같은 중재 전략들이 활용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 1) 중․고등학생 대상의 사회성 중재의 필요성 2) 중재의 현장 실행 가능성 3) 사회성 기술의 사용 기회 제공을 위한 계획 4) 지원적인 통합교육 환경 조성 5) 다양한 교수 방법의 복합적인 활용 6) 통합학급 운영에 미치는 영향 등에 대하여 논의하였다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 통합교육을 받고 있는 자폐 범주성 장애 아동의 사회적 상호작용 증진을 위한 교육적 중재에 있어서 앞으로의 연구와 현장의 적용을 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the experimental studies of the social interactions of students with autism spectrum disorders in general classroom settings. The purpose of this study was to provide insights of the study and the application of educational interventions for the social development of autistic students in inclusive settings. 16 articles from research literature, which were published in foreign journals between 1999 and 2008, met the criteria for this study and were analyzed intervention components, intervention strategies, peer -mediated support and adult-mediated support and intervention effects. Results indicated that the interventions for the social interaction of autistic students were centered upon the kindergarten and elementary students, and the intervention strategies such as a peer-training program, social story, behavioral intervention, and/or video modelling were employed in inclusive settings. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) The necessity of social intervention for autistic adolescents, 2) the feasibility of the intervention in general education settings, 3) the necessity of providing opportunities for using social skills, 4) fostering a supportive inclusion environment, 5) the use of multiple interventions, and 6) the effects on operating inclusive classroom. A discussion of future research directions and applications was included.
