中国网络小说改编影视剧的叙事变化研究 - 以《琅琊榜》为例

국문 초록

온라인 소설 <랑야방>의 크로스미디어 개편 성공의 비결은 서사 변화 측면에서 온라인 소설 독자와 TV드라마 시청자들의 이중적 요구를 만족시킨 것이다. 이 드라마는 온라인 소설의 장황하고 임의적이며 조각화된 서사를 극복하기 위해, 서사 주제를 풍부하게 하였으며, 서사 인물을 집중적이고 심도 있게 형상화하였다. 또 서사 내용도 짜임새 있게 잘 구성하였다. 첫째, ‘주제’에 변화를 주어 온라인 소설의 천박성을 벗어났다. 소설 <랑야방>의 드라마 개편은 원래 주제인 복수를 ‘赤子之心’으로 격상시킨 후 드라마는 시청자들에게 단순히 복수가 아닌 백성을 위한 정치가 깨끗하고 투명한 세상을 만든다는 메시지를 전달시켰다. 둘째, ‘인물’에 변화를 주어 주제를 둘러싼 등장인물을 다시 설계했다. 소설 <랑야방>의 드라마 개편 과정에서 소설 속 불필요한 인물을 삭제하고, 바뀐 주제에 따라 일부 등장인물들의 중요성을 부각시키거나 축소하였다. 또한 드라마 속 인물의 캐릭터가 더욱 진실하고 합리적으로 보이기 위해 중요한 몇몇 인물의 캐릭터를 바꾸었다. 이로 인해 시청자들은 드라마 속 인물들에게서 현실적이고 합리적인 느낌을 갖게 되었다. 셋째, 등장인물과 주제로 드라마를 구성하여 ‘내용’에 변화를 주었다. 개편된 드라마 <랑야방>은 인물을 삭감하거나 부각 정도에 따라 드라마 구성을 소설과 다르게 재조정했고, 다른 한편으로는 주제를 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 주제와 관련된 인물에 대한 스토리를 새로 만들었다. 이는 원작의 전형적인 내용을 그대로 유지할 뿐만 아니라 다른 매체의 새로운 시청자들의 이목을 끌었다. 물론 소설 <랑야방>은 온라인 소설 중 한 장르를 대표할 뿐 소설 <랑야방>의 드라마 개편성공 경험은 기타 장르의 온라인 소설의 다른 매체에 그대로 개편 될 수 있다는 것이 아니다. 하지만 점점 많아진 온라인 소설이 드라마와 영화 등과 같은 동영상 작품으로 개편되는 시대적 배경 아래 본 논문과 같은 구체적 연구는 현실적 의미를 지닐 뿐만 아니라 더욱 깊이 연구 할 가치가 있다.

영문 초록

The key to success of the cross-media adaptation of internet novel Nirvana in fire is the change of narrative meets the needs of readers who prefer internet literature and TV series audiences. To overcome the problem of the narrative of the internet novels which is tedious, arbitrary and fragmented, the adaptation make the narrative theme more abundant, concentrate on the character portrayal and adjust the narrative contents properly. First, in the aspect of the change of the narrative theme, it gets rid of shallowness which is regarded as the problem of internet novels. The adaptation of Nirvana in Fire rises the original revenge theme to the utter innocence which delivers the audiences not the simple tooth for tooth values any more, but the aspiration to create a bright world for all the people. Second, in the aspect of the change of narrative characters, it is rearranged around the theme. The adaptation of Nirvana in Fire deletes the characters which are not necessary and adjusts the importance of some characters according to the added theme contents. In addition, to make the characters more reasonable, the adaptation changes the attribute of a few important characters. In this way, it will be not for the viewers to feel the characters unnecessary, unreal or unreasonable. Third, in the aspect of the change of the narrative contents, the adaptation is on the basis of characters and the theme. The adaptation of Nirvana in Fire adjusts the plots according to the characters on one hand. And on the other hand, it added stories for relevant characters to express the theme clearly. In this way, it retains the classic content of the original and attracts new cross-media audiences. Certainly, Nirvana in Fire is only one type of the internet novels, so it is not proper to copy the successful model by other cross-media adaptation of internet novels. On the background of more and more internet novels adapted for screen, the research not only has practical significance, but is also worth continuing study.
