영문 초록

The author had studied on madibular third molars through the analysis of 81 cases of 3rd decade male patients taken by orthopantomogram. The results were as follows: 1. The length between midline of mandible or mandibular canine and distal portion of the mandibular second molar was longer in impacted group than in erupted group. 2. The longer was the length between midline of mandible or mandibular canine and distal portion of mandibular second molar, the smaller was the degree of distal angulation of the long axis of the mandibular third molar to occlusal plane. 3. It was suggested that the eruption path of the mandibular third molar and the mesio-distal position of the mandibular second molar were not a little related to the impactioh pattern of mandibular third molar.
