영문 초록

An investigation has been performed to evaluate the change of soft tissue profile after surgical correction of mandible prognathism. The objects used for this study material composed of 7 patients who were diagnostic confirmed with mandibular prognathism by mean of cephalometric analysis, and were operated by author myself. The result of this investigation can be summarized and concluded as like follows. 1. The preoperative values of the height of upper lip, height of lower lip, thickness of lower lip, depth of lower lip curvature and relative prominance of upper lip were elongated in comparison with that of postoperative. 2. The preoperative value of the thickness of upper lip, total facial profile angle relative prominence of lower lip were shortened in comparsion with that of postoperative.
