영문 초록

Ameloblastoma is the one of the most commonly occuring odontogenic tumors. The biologic behavior of this neoplasm is characterized by its aggressive nature, persistence, recurrence following surgical therapy, and its ability to metastasize on rate occasions. Separation of the ameloblastoma into three distinct categories of unicystic, solid or multicystic and peripheral variants based on tumor characteristics and behavior is widely accepted. Treatment method, recurrence rate and prognosis are different each other depending on the type of ameloblastoma. This is a report of a case about 56-year-old male patient with the repeatedly recurrent ameloblastoma treated by many surgical approach, radiation therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. I obtained the poor treatment result, so I represents the case with literatural reviews.
