국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 헤어미용 종사자의 학력에 따른 직업가치관과 직업만족의 영향 관계에 대하여 알아보기 위해 서울 미용 종사자 218명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 헤어미용 종사자의 직업가치관 차원을 분석한 결과, 목표의식, 업무집중도, 도전의식이 중 요한 요인임을 알 수 있고, 직업만족도 차원은 미래지향, 업무능력, 자긍심이 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 학력별 직업가치관이 직업만족에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석한 결과, 고등학교(재)졸에서는 목표의식, 업무집중도가 증가하면 업무능력이 증가하고 업무집중도, 도전 의식이 증가하면 자긍심이 증가하였으며 미래지향에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나 타났다. 전문대(재)졸에서는 목표의식, 도전의식, 업무집중도가 증가하면 미래지향 요인이 증 가하였고 업무능력, 자긍심요인에서는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 4년제 대 학교(재)졸에서는 도전의식, 업무집중도가 증가하면 미래지향요인이 증가하고 도전의식, 업무 집중도, 목표의식이 증가하면 업무능력이 증가하였으며 도전의식, 업무집중도, 목표의식이 증 가하면 자긍심이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 대학원(재)졸에서는 도전의식이 증가하면 미래 지향 요인이 증가하고 목표의식, 업무집중도가 증가하면 업무능력이 증가하였으며 자긍심에 대한 요인은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해서 헤어미용종사자의 학력에 따른 직업가치관과 직업만족에 대한 분석결과가 학력별로 상의하다는 것을 알 수 있지만 두 요인 간에는 서로 밀접한 상관관계가 있다는 것을 도출하였다. 이에 따라 헤어미용 종사자들의 학력별로 이에 대한 이해관계와 중요성에 대한 것을 교육을 통해 인지한다면 미용업에 발전과 더 나은 미래지향을 위해 노력할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation between beauticians’view of job value and job satisfaction level by their educational background. For this purpose, this research made a survey to 218 beauticians in Seoul. As a result of the analysis regarding beauticians’view of job value, it could be recognized that goal consciousness, job concentration level and challenge spirit are major factors and regarding job satisfaction level, future orientation, job competency and self-esteem are recognized to be major factors. The major findings of the analysis regarding the influence of beauticians’views of job value by educational background on job satisfaction level are as followings. For highschool graduates, higher goal consciousness and job concentration level which are sub-factors of the view of job value lead to higher job competency. Also, higher job concentration level and challenge spirit lead to higher self-esteem. However, it was investigated that there was no influence on future orientation. For college(2 years) graduates, higher goal consciousness, challenge spirit, and job concentration level which are sub-factors of the view of job value lead to higher future orientation. However, it was investigated that there was no influence on job competency and self-esteem. For university(4 years) graduates, higher goal consciousness and job concentration level which are sub-factors of the view of job value lead to higher future orientation. Also, higher challenge spirit, job concentration level and goal consciousness lead to higher job competency and self-esteem. For those who have postgraduate degrees, higher challenge spirit which is a sub-factor of the view of job value lead to future orientation. Also, higher goal consciousness and job concentration level lead to higher job competency. However, it was investigated that there was no influence on self-esteem. Through this research , it was recognized that the influence of beauticians’ view of job value on job satisfaction level could be different due to their education and there was definite correlation. Therefore, beauticians will be able to make great efforts to make progress in beauty industry and better future, if they recognize the correlation between beauticians’ view of job value and job satisfaction level by education background.
