미용 교사 양성 과정에서 교과교육학 교과목 개설에 관한 연구

국문 초록

과거에는 지식과 정보를 얻을 수 있는 수단이 매우 제한적이었기 때문에 학교는 지식과 정보를 획득하는 통로로서 중요한 역할을 하였다. 수업은 교사의 주도하에 정해진 교육과 정에 따라 교과서대로 진행되었고, 교사는 정보 전달자에 지나지 않았으며, 특히 우리나라는 그 동안 수업에서 교사 요인에 대한 관심이 적었다. 하지만 지식 정보 사회로 일컬어지는 현대 사회에서는 인터넷의 확산, 정보 통신 기술의 발달로 시•공간을 초월한 정보 교환 이 가능해졌으며, 광대한 정보와 지식이 만들어지고 있다. 굳이 학교를 가지 않아도 학교 에서 다루는 수업 내용들을 각종 도서 및 인터넷 검색•인터넷 콘텐트 등을 통하여 획득할 수 있게 된 것이다. 따라서 학교 교육이 본래의 목적을 회복하고, 다른 매체와의 경쟁에서 차별화를 확보하기 위해 교실 수업에 대한 연구가 증가하면서 교사의 역할도 단순한 정보 전달자가 아닌 지식을 변환하여 학생들로 하여금 세계를 보고 삶의 의미를 갖게 하는 ‘재 구성자’로 보는 경향으로 바뀌고 있다. 이 때 교과교육학 지식(PCK)은 교사가 교사양성대 학에서 배운 교과 내용 지식과 교육학 지식을 어떻게 현장에서 잘 적용시키고 활용할 수 있는지 알아보기 위한 가장 좋은 수단으로서 중요한 의미가 있다. 본 연구에서는 교직이수를 통해 미용교사를 양성하는 4년제 대학의 교과교육학 영역 개설 과목 현황을 살펴보고, 교사 양성 과정에서 교과교육학 지식의 중요성을 교직 전문성과 교사효능감 차원에서 고찰하고자 한다. 본 연구는 선행 연구 발표 자료들과 인터넷 홈페이지에 게시된 자료를 비교•분석하여 신뢰할 수 있는 정보만을 선택적으로 인용하는 방법을 채택하였다. 그 결과, 교과교육학 지식은 교수능력의 개인차를 설명할 수 있는 유력한 변인으로 교직 전문성을 나타낼 뿐만 아니라 교사효능감에도 영향을 주었다. 4년제 대학에서 이러한 교과교육학 과목의 개설 현황을 살펴보면, 교육부에서 교과교육학 영역의 과목 이수를 기존 4학점에서 8학점(3과목)으로 상향 조정함으로써 대부분 기본 3과목은 개설하고 있었지만 아직도 일부 대학교 에서는 1~2과목만 개설되어 있어 개선이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

In the past, the school had an important role to acquire knowledge and information. So, the teachers were just a messenger for delivering information. The classes are just proceeded with a curriculum by teachers. But, in modern society, called ‘The Knowledge Information Society’, spread of internet and development of information communications makes information exchange that be free of time and space possible. Also, the vast information and knowledge is produced. Because of this situation, not only researches about school classes are increased but also thoughts about teacher are changed from a simple information messenger to people who can convert knowledge and reconstitute student’s life as giving a meaning of life and seeing whole world. At this moment, Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK) has an important meaning as the way to know that how to use the content and pedagogical knowledge that they learned by teacher education university. In this study, we analyze condition and problem about the subjects of Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK) field that educate the beauty treatment teacher through the university program for teaching profession orientation. And we also consider the importance of PCK in teaching professionalism and teaching efficacy belief. Our study adopt way to quote trustful information selectively from analyzing and comparing data noticed at homepage and precedence study announcement. As a result, The Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK) not only influence teaching efficacy belief, but show teaching professionalism as a strong factor that can explain the individual difference of teaching ability. When examining The Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK) subject that opened in university, although Ministry of Education adjusted the standard of completing The Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK) subject from 4 credits to 8 credits, it is analyzed to need to improve in some universities where have only one or two subjects.
