미용사의 직업적 특성에 따른 삶의 질 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 미용업에 종사하고 있는 미용사의 직업적 특성에 따른 삶의 질을 비교하기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상은 제주특별자치도에서 미용업에 종사하고 있는 576명의 미용사를 대상으로 하였고, 자료수집은 2011년 8월 16일부터 9월 15일까지 연구대상자의 일반적 특성, 직업적 특성 12문항, 건강관련 삶의 질 36문항 등으로 구성된 자기기입식 설문 지를 이용하여 조사하였다. 자료분석은 t-검정, 분산분석(ANOVA)을 이용하여 직업적 특성에 따른 건강관련 삶의 질을 비교하였다. 연구대상자의 삶의 질은 66.25±15.58이었고, 삶의 질 각 영역별 점수는 신체적 건강기능이 82.89±16.56으로 가장 높았고, 신체적 역할제한 70.92±33.04, 감정적 역할제한 70.65±35.46, 통증 68.89±21.69, 사회적 기능 65.19±16.93, 일반건강 61.54±15.63, 정신 건강 56.45±17.60, 활력 53.42±16.12 등의 순이었다. 직업적 특성에 따른 삶의 질은 월수입에 따라 통증, 활력, 정신건강으로 통계적으로 유 의한 차이가 있었고, 직위에 따른 삶의 질 점수에서는 신체적 기능 영역, 활력영역, 정신 건강 영역이, 근무인원에 따른 삶의 질 점수에서는 통증 영역, 사회적 기능 영역, 정신건강 영역, 활력 영역이었고, 삶의 질 총점에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이직 경험 횟수에 따른 삶의 질 점수가 유의한 차이를 나타낸 영역은 신체적 기능 영역, 일반건강 영역, 활력 영역이었고, 삶의 질 총점에서도 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 직업만족 도에 따른 삶의 질 점수가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었던 영역은 신체적 기능 영역, 신체적 역할제한 영역, 통증 영역, 사회적 기능 영역, 일반건강 영역, 활력 영역, 정신건강 영역, 감정적 역할제한이었고, 삶의 질 총점에서도 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted in order to determine the quality of life according to the characteristics engaged by the cosmetology beautician professional. For the subjects of study, 576 cosmetologists who are engaged in cosmetology at Jeju Special Self-Governing Province were established as the subjects while the investigation was performed, which used a self-reporting questionnaire that was organized into nineteen questions that covered general traits, occupational traits, health related behavior traits, forty-three questions concerning occupational stress, eighteen questions on socio-psychological stress, and an additional thirty-six questions on health-related issues about the quality of life of the subjects. The data was gathered between August 16, 2011 and September 15, 2011. For the data analysis, the relationship between stress and the health-related quality of life was identified by using t-test, ANOVA. The quality of life of the subjects was determined to be 66.25 ± 15.58, for the score of each of the quality of life ranges and physical health functions were the highest followed by the orders of physical role limitation, emotional role limitation, pain, social function, general health, and mental health and vitality. Monthly income, depending on the quality of life, according to the characteristics of professional pain in the profession and vital areas, there was found to be no statistically significant differences in the areas of mental health, work in the profession, vital areas, areas of mental health, physical functions, qualities of life scores according to the position pain areas, areas of mental health, vitality, social function areas, and personal areas according to the quality of life score, so there was no statistically significant difference in the quality of life scores. The areas show a significant difference in the of the quality of life scores according to the number of turnovers experienced in the areas of physical functioning, general health areas, vital areas, and the quality of life scores, yet, there was a statistically significant difference. Job satisfaction according to the quality of life scores were found to have statistically significant differences in the areas of physical functioning, physical role limitations, pain in certain areas, in the areas of social functioning, general health areas, vital areas, the areas of mental health, emotional role limitations, but there were no statistically significant differences in the quality of life score.
