영문 초록

Non-parametric method such as DEA/Window model and Mamquist Productivity Index(MPI) are used to measure efficiency and productivity of any organization. This paper aims to analyze the efficiency and productivity about the public wholesale markets using DEA/Window model and MPI. The 29 public wholesale markets over the period 2001~2006 were selected. The results of this paper indicate following : (1) Average efficiency of the public wholesale markets were found as 0.633 over the sample period. (2) The change of dynamic efficiency showed a downward trend over the period. (3) MPI showed productivity down over the same period and primary factor for dropping of productivity change was technical efficiency change down.
