국문 초록

인구보건 복지협회가 펴낸 “2010년 세계인구 현황보고서”에서 우리나라 평균수명이 남성76.4세, 여성이 82.9세로 이런 추세라면 향후 30년 후 여성평균 수명은 97세가 될 것으로 추정하는데 거의 100세에 가깝게 사는 셈이 된다. 이것은 경제수준의 향상과 의료 기술의 발달로 기대 수명이 늘어남으로 인해 오래도록 건강하고 아름답게 살기 위한 관심이 고조 되므로 인하여 에스테틱에 대한 사회적 관심의 증가와 함께 메디컬 스킨케어를 찾는 수요가 늘어나면서 피부미과 메디컬의 두 분야가 경쟁과 공생을 함께 하는 현실이 되었다. 현대인은 젊고 건강한 피부는 곧 자신감이고 피부를 젊고 건강한 상태로 유지 하는 것은 우리의 몸과 마음의 행복을 가져와 육체와 정신건강에 활력소를 준다(김정숙, 2009)는 연구결과들이 에스테틱의 관심도가 높고 중요한 부분인 것을 알 수 있는데, 그러나 피부미용 산업이 점점 어렵게 되는 요인으로 여러 가지가 있겠지만 무엇보다 메디칼 스킨케어에서 우리의 영역들을 급속도로 침해하는 것 또한 큰 요인으로 꼽을 수 있다. 그로 인해 본 연구에서는 한국에서의 실질적인 메디칼 스킨케어와 피부미용 산업에서 이루어지는 서비스 항목들의 구성을 알아보고 이 시점에서 우리 뷰티산업(피부미용)의 문제점과 나아갈 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

영문 초록

In The world population status report 2010 released by the Planned Population Federation of Korea, the average life span of men and women is the age of 76.4 and 82.9 respectively, predicting 97 for women after 30 years which means it will be almost 100 years people will live in Korea. The medical skin care, because of its increased consumptions as the social interests in the Aesthetic became higher by that increased wealth and medical technology raised life expectancy and concern about how to keep healthy life with beauty, reached the reality having competition and symbiotic relationship with the Beauty industry. Such the results of studies as that modern people consider young and healthy skin is a self confidence and keeping skin young and healthy carries our body and mind the happiness, giving a tonic to physical and emotional health (Kim Jeong-sook 2009) have us know the Aesthetic receives high attention as a important part. However, Among many causes of difficulties to the Beauty industry, the biggest threat is the medical skin care takes many part of its role. This study is to practically know the composition of services in Medical skin care and Beauty industry in Korea and at this point, seek the Beauty industry s problems and direction to progress.
