2009 개정교육과정에 따른 실과교육과정의 개발 절차와 주요 개정내용

국문 초록

본 연구는 2011년 8월에 고시된 2009 개정 실과교육과정에 대한 실과교육구성원들의 이해를 돕고자 실과교육과정의 참여진과 개발절차, 실과교육과정의 기본 방향 및 내용에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두고 수행되었으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정 개정 연구진은 12인으로 구성되었으며 이중 실과관련 연구진은 4명이었으며, 협력진은 두 개의 실과관련학회와 실과교육전문가 및 초등학교 교사들로 구성되었다. 둘째, 2009개정교육과정에 따른 실과교육과정 개정의 절차는 2009개정교육과정 총론 고시 이후 1년간 교과교육과정의 개정방향을 설정하는 제 1단계 과정과 실과교육과정 개정 연구진이 구성되어 2009개정교육과정에 따른 실과교육과정을 개발하는 제 2단계의 과정으로 구성되었다. 셋째. 2009 개정교육과정에 따른 실과교육과정 개정의 기본방향은 ‘2007 개정교육과정의 수정· 보완’, ‘ 2009 총론에서 제시된 학년군, 교과군, 집중이수제 고려’, ‘ 국가·사회·시대 및 요구 적극반영’, ‘교과 학습을 통한 역량 중심 교육과정 구성’이라는 개정의 기본방향과 교육과학기술부에서 제시한 교육과정 문서 체제 및 진술방식에 준하여 개정되었다. 마지막으로 교육과정의 주요 개정내용 중 1) 성격은 현행에 비해 실과(기술․가정)교과의 대상과 범위를 총괄적으로 먼저 제시하고 중등과 분리하여 실과교과의 정체성을 명확하게 제시하였다. 2)목표는 총괄목표와 가정생활, 기술의 세계영역의 2개 하위목표로 진술하고, 기술영역의 목표 진술에 진로내용을 포함시켜 내용체제와 및 중등과의 연계성을 강화하였다. 3) 내용면에서는 학년별로 6개의 단원으로 구성하여 약 20%를 감축하였으며, 국가·사회적 요구사항을 단원에 반영하고 학습내용별로 성취기준을 제시하였다. 교육내용요소는 기술의 세계 영역에서의 변화가 더 컸다. 4) 교수․학습방법에서는 전반적으로는 현행 안을 유지하였으나 주목할 것은 ‘문제해결 교수·학습 방법’, ‘프로젝트교수·학습 방법’, ‘실습 교수·학습 방법중심’을 중점적으로 적용하도록 한다는 점이다. 5)평가는 교과의 핵심역량의 성취여부를 중시하는 ‘목표 지향평가’를 강조하고 수행평가에 대한내용을 포함하여 교육목표와 내용에 따른 다양한 평가방법의 적용을 비교적 상세히 진술하였다.

영문 초록

This study was carried out to help members of practical arts education field understand the curriculum revised in 2009 and officially announced in August, 2011. The results of this study were as follows: First, the revision committee was composed of twelve people, four of practical arts education researchers, and the rest of elementary school teachers and practical arts education experts. Second, the steps of the 2009 curriculum revision was carried out in two steps, setting the direction of the revision and developing the programs of curriculum. Third, the 2009 revision was directed towards the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education, and also towards the basic directions such as “correction of the 2007 revision,” “application of the The Grade Group System , The Subjects Group System and The Concentrated Subject System in the 2009 outline,” “meeting the demands of the society,” and “curriculum with consideration of the current level and potential of students.” Last, the characteristics of the practical arts curriculum revision was started out with suggestion of goals and range for the curriculum. The goal was divided into the overall goal, and the techniques and livelihood. The technical goal included the career path decision to strengthen the connection with the middle school curriculum. Contents-wise, the curriculum for each grades consists of six chapters to reduce about 20% in contents. The demands of the society and the nation was applied to each chapters, proposing expected goals for each educational content. The elements of the contents changed the most in the technology area. The teaching and learning methods did not change generally, but focuses on “the problem solving method,” “project method,” and “practical exercise method” centrally. Evaluation emphasizes on the “goal-oriented evaluation,” and includes contents of performance assessment to state the applications of different evaluations comparatively in detail.
