흥사단우의 도산 안창호 리더십 인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록

도산 안창호(島山 安昌浩, 1878~1938)는 구한말 일본의 식민 지배에 맞서 대한 독립을 위해 전 생애를 투신한 독립 운동가였다. 소년기에 청일 전쟁을 목격하며 ‘힘’없는 나라의 말로를 탄하며 구국과 독립의 필요를 자각하고 독립협회 운동에 참여를 필두로 독립운동에 투신한 이래 전 생을 통하여 국내는 물론 미주, 중국 원동, 러시아 등 도처의 독립 운동가들을 규합하여 일본 식민통치에 대항하였다. 도산은 숱한 독립운동 행보 속에서 적지 않은 독립운동의 거인들과 단합하고 통일, 통합하기를 중시하여 노선과 사상의 갈등을 극복하며 상해임시정부를 지켜내는 등 초인적으로 독립운동을 주도하였다. 도산은 절박한 독립투쟁의 험로에서도 모든 독립 운동가들과의 인격적인 신뢰를 쌓으며 폭넓고 두터운 존경을 받아왔으며 세심하게 준비된 독립운동 계획을 마련하고 몸서 실천하며 주도함은 물론 독립투쟁 현장과 향후 건국을 감당할 젊은 인재의 발굴과 육성에 특유의 지도력을 발휘하여 여타 독립운동가와는 다른 탁원한 리더십의 면모를 보인다. 도산은 그 험난한 독립투쟁과 독립 건국을 위하여 건전한 인격과 신성한 단체를 이루어 ‘힘’을 기르는 것이 최신의 길임을 주창하며 인재양성의 최고수준의 단체로 흥사단을 창립(1913년)한다. 흥사단을 통하여 배출된 탁월한 인재들이 당시의 독립운동의 중추가 되었을 뿐만 아니라 해방 후 독립국가 정부 수립의 전문 인력의 30%가 흥사단(興士團) 단우로 구성되었다는 사실은 도산의 인재 양성을 향한 탁월한 리더십의 면모를 보인 것이라 할 것이다. 본 연구는 상기와 같은 ‘도산 안창호의 리더십의 특성’을 연구하는 선행 연구의 목적으로 ‘흥사단우의 도산 안창호 리더십 인식에 관한 연구’를 목적으로 하였다. 이 인식 연구를 위하여 설문 및 질의 조사, 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구 분석 결과, 도산 안창호는 그의 전 생애를 통한 독립운동에서 어느 특정한 리더십, 즉 카리스마리더십, 서번트 리더십이나 변혁적 리더십 등을 편향적으로 발휘한 것이 아니라 오히려 대표적인 리더십 유형들을 통합과 융합을 통하여 ‘총체적’으로 발휘하였다는 것과 이러한 사실을 흥사단우가 ‘보편적이고 공통적으로 인식하고 있다’는 특성을 실증적으로 보여주고 있음이 분석 되었다. 둘째, 이는 도산 안창호 리더십에 대한 그간의 연구가 몇 가지 리더십유형으로 편향되어있거나 혹은 도산의 리더십이 여타 리더십유형들과 통합과 융합을 이루어 총체적으로 탁월한 리더십을 발휘하였다는 것을 간과하고 있음을 실증적으로 보여주고 있다. 셋째, 또한 그간의 도산의 리더십에 대한 연구가 연구자의 전문분야 즉 역사학, 교육학, 철학, 정치학 등에 편중되어 개념화됨으로서 도산의 리더십의 본질적이고 핵심적인 특성에는 접근하고 있지 못하고(않고) 있음을 시사한 것이라 할 것이다. 넷째. 이 같은 결과와 시사는 도산 안창호의 리더십에 관한 연구는 다양한 리더십이론 유형들을 ‘통합과 융합을 이루며 총체적으로 발휘된 도산의 리더십 특성’을 실증적이며 논리적으로 뒷받침할 보다 심도 있는 연구의 필요를 제시하고 있다 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Doshan, Ahn Chang Ho (島山 安昌浩, 1878~1938) was the independence fighters who fought against the colonial rule of Japan in the late Joseon Dynasty. For the entire period of his life, he was rallying the independence movement everywhere, including domestic and North America, Far East, China and Russia. With them it was against Japanese colonial rule. Doshan was undergoing a lot of independence. He united with the giants of the independence movement and was considered no less important to integrate. He overcome the conflicts of the routes and ideas and the independence movement led by such superhuman injury that kept the Provisional Government in Shanghai. Doshan should demonstrate the unique leadership in discovering and nurturing young talent necessary to struggle for independence and nation. The advantage is the outstanding leadership of Doshan, unlike other Tiradentes. He, Doshan founded Heungshadan (1913), as the highest levels of the organization of for development of human resources. He was encouraged young talent achieve a healthy personality and divine organization, they were encouraged to establish the foundations of the future and prosperity of the Korean people. Heungshadan talents are not only the backbone of the independence movement of the time, 30% of professional staff for suripreul government of an independent state was composed of Heungshadan (興士團) members after liberation. The fact is that the aspects of the outstanding leadership demonstrated by the Doshan for young talent. This study was aimed at Study on Recognition of Dosan, Ahn Chang Ho’s leadership on Heungsadahn member, as one of the study of Doshan, Ahn Chang Ho s leaderfship. This has the nature of previous research to study the future, the characteristics of Dosan, Ahn Chang Ho’s leadership. This study was conducted to recognize the survey analysis. The results of this study are as follows, 1. The validity of the loaded value of the eight factors(more than .4 ±) and reliability (more than 0.60) were identified in the Survey of the present study. In addition, the proximity (1.7%) correlation between pairs of variables (KMO) was also confirmed. Therefore, All of the validity, reliability, proximity of the research methods to the investigation was to be secured. 2.General characteristics of Heungsadahn-member on Dosan, Ahn Chang Ho’s leadership consisted of gender, age, education, economy, affiliations, activities, careers and more. In recognition of Dosan, Ahn Chang Ho’s leadership it was somewhat in accordance with the difference depending on their area of Seoul and career activities. However, their common characteristics also showed the high recognition even in generally. 3.Heungsadahn-member were aware that Dosan s leadership is high and evenly, various types of exerted collectively. It is the highest among the eight leadership style charismatic (M=4.71), was the lowest it self-leadership (M=4.19) order. Their overall perception mean 4.49 points, it was equally high 4.In this study the analysis results, Dosan was not the one that exhibits a particular, that charismatic leadership, servant leadership and transfor- mational leadership, including in the independence movement of his entire life as biased. Rather, Dosan was exhibited as holistic through the integration and convergence of different leadership styles, it was recognized these facts as universal and commonly by Heungsadahn-member. 5. The results confirmed that the Dosan exert collectively through the integration and convergence of various leadership styles and, In addition, the results suggest it wouldl be need for more in-depth research that the characteristics of Dosan s leadership must be backed up by empirical logic.
