국문 초록

본 연구는 지난 2012년을 중심으로 한국과 몽골의 음악문화 교류 현황을 검토하여, 향후 양국의 음악문화교류 및 협력방안을 모색한 것이다. 외교적 차원에서 우리나라의 음악문화 교류 및 협력 사업은 보편적으로 단발성 혹은 일회성의 공연문화를 교류하는 방식으로서 추진되고 있었으나, 지난해 2012년을 중심으로 되돌아보면 보다 발전적인 방안을 통해 얼마간의 성과를 이루었다. 그러나 가장 큰 성과의 과제는 양국의 우호협력과 신뢰일 것이다. 세계 각국의 문화예술 간의 소통은 다자간(多者間)의 협상이 요구되며, 이는 각국의 전통문화 예술적 보편성과 특수성을 담보로 한다. 상고이래로 전통문화란 민족의 보편성과 특수성을 발현하는 정신문화였다. 특히 국가가 형성된 시기 이후, 동북아시아에서는 자국의 민족문화 중에서도 음악문화를 통해 소통의 문화를 양산(量産)하였으며, 이로 인하여 외교적 정치 목적을 달성하기도 했다. 음악문화는 사회사적 측면에서 민족의 보편성과 특수성을 표현하는 가장 좋은 수단이다. 몽골과 한국은 양국의 우수한 문화자산인 전통음악을 통해 서로의 정신문화를 이해하고 문화예술교류로서 우호협력을 이끌어 문화연대, 나아가 문화공통체로서의 화합을 도모할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the interchange of music culture between Korea and Mongolia in 2012, in an attempt to discuss how to accelerate the exchange of their music culture and boost mutual collaboration. Our country has attempted to interact with Mongolia by sharing our music culture on a temporary basis through the exchange of performing arts, as part of a diplomatic effort. The interchange of the two countries has especially produced good results last year, 2012, thanks to a more assertive effort. However, they should still try to take their collaborative ties and mutual trust to another level. In the global market, western culture and arts such as classical music or ballet are not the only way to ensure the success of cultural or artistic exchange or the establishment of friendly diplomatic relations. It requires multilateral negotiations that are related in the pursuit of globalism, and the artistic specificity and universality of each country s traditional culture, which should both be guaranteed. National culture has referred to the spiritual culture of the nation that manifests both national universality and specificity since ancient times. In Northeast Asia, countries have shared their national culture, especially music, with one another since they were established, and that has made it possible for them to attain their diplomatic or political goals. Music culture is the best way to express national universality and specificity from the perspective of social history. Mongolia and Korea are able to understand each other s spiritual culture to boost a mutual cultural exchange and a friendly cooperation to strengthen their cultural solidarity as cultural communities when they share each other s traditional music, which is one of their superb assets.
