국문 초록

기존의 바코드를 대신하여 기업 물류 활동 특히 재고관리와 공급사슬관리(SCM)에 중대한 변화를 가져올 뿐만 아니라 기타 산업에까지 혁신을 일으킬 애플리케이션으로서 유비쿼터스 환경의 기반이 될 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 기술은 사물에 전자 태그를 부착하여 무선으로 사물의 ID를 인식하여 정보를 수집하고 주변 상황 정보를 감지하고 수집된 정보를 저장, 가공, 추적함으로써 사물에 대한 측위, 원격처리, 관리 및 사물간 정보 교환 등의 서비스를 제공하는 기술이다. 우리나라에서는 최근 정보통신부와 산업자원부를 중심으로 ‘u-센서 네트워크 계획’, ‘RFID 활용혁신 및 산업화 추진대책’을 잇달아 발표하는 등 차세대 국가 기간 기술의 요소기술로서의 중요성이 날로 증대되는 상황이다. 그러나 국내에서는 전자 태그 및 칩 값이 비싸서 전 산업의 재고관리분야에 실용화되어 있지 않아 아직도 RFID 기술 도입이 SCM(Supply Chain Management)에 있어서 구체적으로 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가에 대한 연구가 거의 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SCM과 RFID의 이론적 배경을 토대로 SCM 차원에서의 RFID 기술도입의 효과와 RFID의 국내외 산업동향을 분석하여 앞으로 RFID의 전반적 전망과 SCM 분야에 있어서 RFID의 시장전망을 소개하여 국내기업들이 SCM 분야에서 RFID 기술의 도입 및 활성화를 추구하는데 다소나마 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Recently, RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system has attracted the focus of attention due to excellent capability as an automatic identification system. Korean government also regard this particular technology as one of major work-horse in the IT industry. Also, the customer satisfaction is getting more important resulting from rapidly changing business environment. Also, the competition of the future will net bo organization to organization, but rather supply chain to supply chain. As the result, SCM(Supply Chain Management) has become recognized as a major strategy and issue in the business activities. In this paper, some basic concepts and tools related to SCM and RFID are described, as well as the definition and components of SCM and RFID. Researches on RFID are categorized into review study and case study in RFID technology. And various other researches are discussed in this paper. But yet, many research on the effects of introducing RFID in SCM is not appear. This paper introduce the effects and outlook for adoption of RFID in SCM. As the result of the study indicate that RFID system is to expected to become basis of attendance system in ubiquitous environment based on context awareness and position awareness. Some fundamentals on RFID system are described and other identification are also compared. Also, this paper introduces RFID system to solve the problems, which arise in the process of supply, and to systemically manage SCM. Among various RFID systems, the reader and tag suitable to the SCM are designed. Likewise, though constructing a DB that can cognized electronic tags, RFID sysetms in SCM are designed.
