영문 초록

This study shed light on the construction and estimation of an Regional Economic Model to assess economic effects of regional policies on sectoral employment, economic growth and price inflation. As a case study, the model has been applied to Seoul Metropolitan Area including cities of Seoul and Incheon, and Kyunggi province. The model structure is based on recursively dynamic Computable General Equilibrium Model, focusing on the real side of economy in 1990. The economic agents include single consumer and government, 12 producers, foreign and other regional sectors with classification of regional market into labor, capital and commodity markets. The Regional Economic Model is composed of two main modules : (1) "Production and Trade" module and (2) "Demand" module. The profit maximization and cost minimization of the producer and utility maximization of the consumer have been applied in the construction of the model, and the foreign exchange rate is set as numeraire. The Regional Economic Model consists of 361 equation and has been applied to an impact analysis of regional investment on the structural adjustment of the Seoul Metropolitan Area Economy.
