국문 초록

교통의 역사는 인류의 역사와 함께 하고 있다. 인간이 사회·경제적 활동을 하기 위한 관련 시설로의 접근을 교통은 가능하게 한다. 이러한 측면에서 교통수단은 인간의 생존 및 번영을 위한 필수적인 요소라 해도 과언이 아니다. 사람들은 교통수단을 통해 운송의 장소적 거리를 극복하고 있다. 사람들이 이용하지 않은 교통수단은 더 이상 교통이 아니다. 지속가능한 교통은 사람과의 상호작용이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 지속가속한 교통의 메커니즘을 밝히기 위해 진행된 연구이다. 연구결과, 지속가능한 교통에는 휴머니티와 경제적 혜택이 메커니즘으로 나타났다. 즉, 인간중심의 교통이 설계되어야 교통의 지속가능성은 높아진다. 또한 경제적 혜택이 있다고 느껴져야 해당 교통은 지속가능하다. 본 연구는 휴머니티와 경제적 혜택에 어떠한 요인이 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다. 휴머니티에는 환경친화성, 접근성, 편의성이 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 경제적 혜택에는 경제성만이 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 최근 들어 교통관련 이슈가 매우 부각되는 상황에서 본 연구는 교통의 메커니즘 연구를 진행했다는 점에서 연구의 이론적 시사점이 있다. 또한 본 연구결과는 실제 교통상황에 직접적으로 적용할 수 있다는 측면에서 연구의 실무적 시사점에 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본 연구는 응답자 지역의 편향성으로 인해 일반화가능성에 다소 문제점이 있다. 따라서 향후 연구에서는 응답지역의 보편성을 함께 고려해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The history of transportation has gone with that of mankind. The core value of transportation is assistance for human’s social and economic activities. Transportation is essential matter for survival and prosperity of people. People overcome spatial distance of shipping through transportation. Transportation is not transportation any more unless using of it by people. It is very important for sustainable transportation to interact with people. This study focuses on themechanismof sustainable transportation. In results, the mechanismof sustainable transportation was related with humanity and economic benefit. That is, the design of human-oriented transportation makes sustainable transportation high. Perception of economic benefit can get transportation sustainable. This study explored the precedence variables of humanity and economic benefit. Environment-friendliness, accessibility, and convenience took humanity positively. Economic benefit, however, was affected by only economic feasibility. This study has theoretical implication of transportation’ mechanismin respect of embossing of transportation issues recently. And the results of this study in related with practical implication may apply relevant fields. Bounded generalization is a short point of this study because of bias of sample area. So, future research should consider external validity of sampling.
