여성의 지역사회인식이 지방정부 주도의 지역활동 참여 의지에 미치는 영향 - 지방정부신뢰의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구는 바람직한 사회적 자본 축적과 전향적인 지역사회의 발전을 위해 불가분하게 요구되는 여성의 지역활동에 대한 참여 수준을 제고할 수 있는 과학적 정보를 제공함으로써 일익을 담당하고자 수행되었다. 이러한 연구의 목적 달성을 위해 다양한 지역활동이 다분하게 이루어지고 있는 지방의 여성들을 대상으로 여성들의 지역에 대한 애착심·적극적 관심·소속감 등의 지역사회인식, 지방자치단체가 주도하여 실시되고 있는 각종 지역활동에 대한 참여 의지, 전문성·공정성·투명성 차원의 지방정부신뢰 수준을 설문으로 파악하였으며, 수집된 자료를 통해 각 변수별로 응답자들의 일반적 특성에 따른 유의한 차이 여부를 분석하였고, 지역사회인식을 독립변수, 지역활동 참여 의지를 결과변수, 지방정부신뢰를 매개변수로 설정하여 영향관계를 확인하였다. 분석결과, 응답 여성들의 지역사회인식, 지역활동 참여 의지, 지방정부신뢰 수준은 모두 낮은 편이었으며, 여성들 학력에 따라 지역에 대한 관심과 소속감이 차이가 날 뿐, 다른 개인의 일반적 특성에 따른 차이는 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 여성의 지역사회인식과 지역활동 참여 의지, 지방정부신뢰 사이의 관계는 모두 긍정적(+) 영향관계이며, 지방정부신뢰가 매개요인으로 작용하고 있었다.

영문 초록

Women’s participation in the community is necessary to the accumulation of social capital and the development of the community, and this study was performed to provide scientific information and to take a part in the activation of women’s participation in the community. To achieve this goal, this study conducted surveys of women in local communities where various local activities are active and researched women’s attachment of local communities, their wills to participate in various local activities performed under local governments and their trusts in local governments in terms of expertise, fairness and transparency. Further, this study analyzed differences between each factor depending on women’s general characteristics through the collected data, set up women’s sense of local community as independent variables, women’s wills of local activities as result variables and women’s trusts in local governments as parameters, and this study studied the influential relationship between each variable. As a result of the analysis, women’s sense of community, wills of local activities and trusts in local governments were low. Women’s academic backgrounds made differences in their interests and sense of belonging in their local communities. Except this, other general characteristics of women were not influential. Moreover, the relationships between women’s sense of local communities, wills of local activities and trusts in local governments were the positive influential relationships, and women’s trusts in local governments were parameters for these positive influential relationships.
