초등 수･과학 영재 및 일반 학생의 성격유형에 따른 교수방법 선호도 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 MMTIC 성격 유형에 따라 초등학교 수･과학 영재, 일반학생의 교수-학습 선호도를 비교해 보고, 성격 유형과 학년, 성별에 따라 교수방법 선호도가 어떻게 달라지는 지를 확인하려는 목적에서 출발하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 수･과학 영재와 일반학생의 교수방법 선호도에는 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 초등 수･과학 영재는 에너지방향에 따른 교수방법 선호도에 차이가 있었으며, 기질적･기능적 특성, 인식기능, 판단기능, 인식행동에 따른 교수방법 선호도에는 차이가 없었다. 일반학생은 기능적 특성에 따른 교수방법 선호도에는 차이가 없었지만, 기질적 특성, 에너지방향, 인식기능, 판단기능, 인식행동에 따른 교수방법 선호도에는 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 초등 수･과학 영재는 성별에 따라 교수방법 선호도에는 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 초등 수･과학 영재의 학년에 따른 교수방법 선호도 차이는 없었다. 이런 결과는 영재학생들은 교수방법에 관계없이 성실하게 수업에 참여하며 일반학생들은 그들이 가지고 있는 성격에 따라 선호하는 학습방법이 다르다. 교사는 영재들이 다양한 학습방법을 접할 수 있게 수업 내용을 풍부하게 해야 하고 새로운 자극을 통해 그들이 발전할 수 있게 도와주어야 한다. 일반학생은 그들의 성격을 잘 분석하여 어떤 교수학습방법이 효과적인지 늘 생각해야 할 것이다. 남학생은 유의하지는 않지만 공학중심교수에서 여학생보다 높은 선호도를 보였는데 교사는 남학생의 특성을 잘 이용해 공학중심교수를 이용한 수업을 개발할 필요가 있다고 판단되고, 여학생들에게는 언어를 활용한 수업을 개발해 현장에서 적용해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to compare the character styles of the mathematics, science gifted, and general students at elementary schools by MMTIC character styles, and ascertain how the preference of instructional methods become different by character style, gender and grades. The analytical results of the collected data are presented as follows: Firstly, there was difference in the preference for instructional methods of the mathematic gifted, the science gifted and general students. Secondly, there was difference in the preference for instructional methods of the mathematic gifted, the science gifted by Energy direction, but there was no difference in the preference for instructional methods of the mathematic gifted, the science gifted by functional nature, tendency nature awareness function, decision function, awareness behavior. there was no difference in the preference for instructional methods of general students by unctional nature, but there was difference in the preference for instructional methods of general students by Energy direction, tendency nature awareness function, decision function, awareness behavior. Thirdly, there was difference in the preference for instructional methods of the mathematic gifted, the science gifted by gender. Fourthly, there was no difference in the preference for instructional methods of the mathematic gifted, the science gifted by grade. In conclusion, the mathematic gifted, the science gifted study sincerely in every instructional methods and general students have different instructional methods according to what they like. Teacher have to make the contents of teaching abundant for touching variety learning methods, help to stimulate students to develop. For general students, using analysis of their character, have to think what instructional methods are efficient. Boys has higher preference of engineering instruction than girls, teacher need to develop teaching using engineering, for girls, need to develop teaching using language.
