영문 초록

In addition to the global academia, the domestic world of academics is assuming a new aspect to conduct researches that mutually relate literature to other types of genres, though the research topics could be different according to various time periods. As a result, numerous works are continuously recreated and reproduced into diverse cultural art contents in line with the current periodical trend. It is common to witness the world classics combining with the modern image aesthetics and extending towards the field of music and art, a phenomenon which we are also accepting naturally. Based on such phenomenon, it is essential to restore the fundamentals of literature; a diverse form of art that is undergoing reinterpretation and creation activities through the development to cultural contents. Moreover, it is important to recover the vitality of texts and graft it at the education site. The process of revitalizing dynamics and presence of literature by exploring the literature space and searching for the connotative meaning within literary texts can be perceived as an art form of continuous reinterpretation and activities of creation. It can also be perceived as a learning strategy in which people can understand the literary works most directly. As such, because the space research is an area where the reader can apply at best the presence and dynamics of literary works, it is also crucial to see, feel and experience the scene for the work space through pre-exploration or making literature tours in terms of reinvigorating and popularizing literature. A qualitative literary work can be an excellent cultural content on its own. To take a step further, the literature space for the related literary work has an important intermediating role to stimulate the culture and industry of the particular region. In this sense, Orhan Pamuk's novel, Snow, can be regarded as the most ideal work of literature. The novel Snow is a fine example of invigorating literature education by using the contents from the explorations made on literature spaces. Within this work, the real spaces that exist objectively and the subjective spaces that are signified through the consciousness and experiences from people are all portrayed. In other words, the spaces that are reenacted in the literary work are neither a mere fiction nor the work of imagination. In Snow, the historical backgrounds of real spaces, the socio-cultural contexts, sense and awareness to the space, cultural conventions as well as cultural ideologies of the real spaces are all depicted. The core competitiveness to the cultural industry is the differentiated senses and ideas; it is not necessary to highlight the need for an education that encourages creative thinking so that the students are not restrained upon stereotypes or frames. The culture of creativity has been regarded as an indispensable factor behind nurturing competent human resources, and this research observed how the literature spaces has been utilized as cultural contents. As a result, it is considered that humane qualities that cultivate creativity and aesthetic senses can be created, in addition to a synergy effect that brings up convergent talents encompassing diverse genres.
