영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differential perceptions of job satisfaction factors of part-time workers who are an essential and flexible source of labor in fast-food industry. Based on actual turnover rate data from McDonalds outlets over a period of 5 months, we used a sample of 122 part-time workers from 6 outlets. It was hypothesized that their perception would show significant differences in job satisfaction factors. Job satisfaction factors were divided into three categories(working condition, human relationship and environment) by factor analysis. The result of ANOVA indicated that working condition and human relationship differed significantly between each group with different turnover rates. The most important finding was that part-time workers of low turnover rate outlets showed high satisfaction in the human relationship category.
