자폐성장애 교육 관련 연구의 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 2006년부터 2014년 6월까지 국내에서 발표된 자폐성장애 교육 관련 학술 연구를 중심으로 자폐성장애 교육의 연구 동향을 살펴보았다. 포함 및 제외 기준에 따라 선정된 총 395편의 논문을 대상으로 연구주제, 연구유형, 연구대상을 분석하고 중재연구를 대상으로 중재 대상, 중재 환경, 중재 성과, 중재전략을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 사회적 의사소통에 관한 주제로 이루어진 연구가 가장 많았고, 연구유형에서는 중재연구와 문헌연구가 많이 이루어졌다. 연구대상은 주로 자폐성장애를 대상으로 하였으며 대상 연령군은 유아 및 초등의 연령이 주를 이루었다. 대상 적용 용어는 자폐성장애라는 표현이 가장 많이 사용되었다. 중재연구만을 대상으로 분석과 결과, 3명을 대상으로, 남자를 대상으로 하고 부분통합되어 있는 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 중재 연구는 대상자에게 친숙한 환경과 특수학교 학급교실에서 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 중재자로는 교사가 중재를 시행하고 11~15회기의 중재를 시행한 연구가 가장 많았다. 실험설계로는 대상자간 중다기초선설계가 가장 많이 적용되었으며 분석대상 연구 중에서 관찰자간 신뢰도를 제시한 연구는 많았으나 중재충실도와 사회적타당도를 제시한 연구는 적었다. 종속변인으로는 사회적 상호작용, 의사소통, 문제행동 영역에 대한 연구가 주를 이루었다. 중재 성과의 반응력 위계로는 유지 단계까지 알아본 연구가 가장 많았다. 연구 중재전략으로는 기술중심중재를 가장 많이 적용한 것으로 나타났다. 구체적인 중재 전략으로는 강화, 시범, 시각적 지원을 적용한 연구가 많았다. 이러한 결과에 근거하여 연구의 방향이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to synthesize research trends in education for autistic people by analyzing journal articles related to autistic people published from 2006 to 2014 in Korea. A total of 395 articles were selected by the criteria for this synthesis and were analyzed in terms of research topics, type of research, and subjects. In case of experimental study, subjects, intervention settings, intervention outcomes and strategies were additionally analyzed. The major findings of this study were as follows: The research topic areas most referred were social communication, and applied research on seeking to identify and evaluate intervention approaches. The type of research which was prevalent was experimental study. The mostly targeted research subjects were preschool and elementary school students with autism spectrum disorders. In experimental studies, the most frequently selected subjects were 3 boys in special classroom. The interventions were mostly 11-15 sessions by teacher. Multiple baseline research design across subjects were the most frequently used. Most studies reported not social validity and intervention fidelity but interobserver agreement. The dependent variables of most studies were social interaction, communication, and problem behaviors. Most studies reported the data on maintenance. Intervention strategies related to skill-based interventions and treatments were used. Reinforcement, modeling, and visual supports were the most frequently used. Based on the result, the implication on education for people with autism spectrum disorders were discussed, and future study issues were recommended.
