국문 초록

사회복지환경의 변화로 지역사회복지의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 지역주민들의 다양한 복지욕구에 대한 맞춤형 복지서비스를 위해 지차체가 실행하고 있는 지역사회복지 탐색과 동두천 주민의 복지욕구를 조사하여 주민들의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 방안을 도출하는데 기초자료로 활용하며 지역사회 복지발전을 모색하는데 있다. 동두천시 시민들은 동두천시의 범죄문제, 빈곤 등이 심각하다고 여기고 있다. 동두천시 관내 사회복지시설에 대한 인지도가 전반적으로 낮고, 주민들의 이용경험도 많지 않은 것으로 조사 되었다. 지역문제를 해결하기위해선 지역사회의 공공과 민간복지 자원 조사를 통한 지역적 네트워크 활성화의 필요성이 제기된다. 또한, 지역복지에 있어 일회성 사업에 역점을 두기 보다는 지역적 특성과 복지수요자들의 개별욕구가 반영된 복지계획 수립이 되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

An importance of local social welfare is increasing since social welfare environment has changed over time. The purpose of this study is to search for local social welfare, that local government practices, for well-fitted welfare services on various welfare needs of local residents, and to establish basic data for local social welfare development through a survey of residents' welfare needs living in city 'Dongdocheon' and to derive methods for improvement of their lives. Citizens living in Dongducheon are considered crime and poverty as serious issues in their community. This study was investigated that their awareness of local social welfare facilities in the city was poor, and also local residents' participation was too low. So, in order to solve local problems, activation of regional network should be progressed to investigate social welfare resourse in public and private sector in a regional community. Furthermore, in local social welfare, welfare plan, reflecting individual needs and regional features, should be established, not focusing on temporary projects.
