국문 초록

본고는 한국교회 성도들이 어떠한 이단들의 미혹에도 흔들리지 않고 참된 믿음을 지켜갈 수 있도록 성경적 종말신앙을 교육함을 목적한다. 이러한 목적에서 451년의 전통을 지닌 개혁교회의 유산인 하이델베르크 요리문답서를 그 중요한 교육적 도구로 사용하고자 한다. 먼저 하이델베르크 요리문답 작성 당시의 교육의도와 전 유럽에 가장 활발하게 영향을 미쳤던 시대의 교육상황을 집중 조명하여 봄으로써 하이델베르크 요리문답의 신앙 교육적 의미를 살피고 오늘에 적용할 교육적 통찰을 끌어내었다. 계속해서 그 구조가 가지고 있는 유용성과 그리스도 중심의 하나님 나라 사상을 연구함으로써 오늘날 성도들의 종말교육에 적용할 수 있는 가장 핵심적인 종말신앙의 토대를 형성하고자 하였다. 하이델베르크 요리문답교육의 본래적 목적은 지정의의 통합된 교육이었고, 가정, 교회, 학교의 교육의 장의 연합을 통한 삶의 전 영역에 걸친 신앙의 삶의 교육이었고, 출생부터 죽음에 이르기까지 성도 전 생애에 걸친 평생교육이었다. 즉 믿음이 지식으로 만이 아니라 의지로, 삶의 행동으로, 그의 깊은 고백으로 통합되어 그들이 만나는 어떠한 어려움 속에서도 그 믿음의 내용을 붙잡고 그리스도인답게 이겨나갈 수 있는 힘이 되도록 교육하였고, 그 궁극적 힘은 부활과 영생을 믿는 종말론적 신앙에 있었다고 할 수 있다. 실천신학적 논문으로서 본고는 한국교회 상황에서 하이델베르크 요리문답 교육을 위한 교육의 기회들을 탐색하고, 소그룹인도의 실제를 위한 간단한 교안을 첨부하였다. 결론적으로 한국교회가 이 요리문답교육의 교육적 의의를 잘 실천하여 성도들을 참된 믿음을 훈련하고, 성화의 삶으로 이끌고, 현세에서 의 삶 뿐 만아니라 죽음 이후의 영생을 소망하는 견고한 믿음으로 교육하는 신앙 공동체가 될 것을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to educate Korean Christians in order that they form reformed eschatological faith from the Bible. Then they will not be infatuated by any kinds of heresies with false eschatology. On this purpose I would like to use Heidelberg Catechism as a catechetical tool. It will give us very important insights for our christian education from it's long reformed heritage of a faith worth teaching. This Catechism have been endured for 451 years by the world reformed churches. Heidelberg Catechism as a textbook has functioned the students to learn not only with their mind but also with their heart. The whole person is involved in this learning process. The ultimate objective of this catechesis (christian education) is living as a Christian. By a lifelong learning process Christians realize that Jesus Christ is their only comfort in their life and their death, and they are equipped with true faith. Heidelberg Catechism introduces great benefits that Christians receive from the sacrifice and death of Christ on the cross, Resurrection and Ascension and so on. This effectiveness of Christian faith is apply to Christian daily life in this world and as well as life after death, to eternal life. Christian life seeks sanctification with gratitude in this world, at the same time Christians wait for eagerly coming Kingdom of God. As a practical theological thesis, this article tried to search for the educational setting for education of Heidelberg Catechism. Then I add a simple example for lesson in a small group in order to form the eschatological view with the Heidelberg Catechism as a textbook. In conclusion, this article suggests three directions for eschatological education of Korean churches as follows: education for true faith with knowledge and commitment, emphasis on life of sanctification as fruits of gratitude, and learning from historical persons of faith with hope of resurrection.
