국문 초록

본 연구는 보건복지부가 노인의 건강 및 사회참여 증진, 보충적 소득보장 등을 목적으로 도입하여 급속하게 확대실시하고 있는 노인일자리사업에 대해서 그간의 사업 전반에 대한 평가가 단순히 사업 자체의 효과성에 국한되어 있어 세부 하위유형별 효과성에 대한 평가가 이루어지지 못했다는 문제의식을 바탕으로 노인일자리사업의 각 하위유형별 사업참여자의 만족도, 사회참여수준, 주관적 효과성에 대해서 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 노인일자리사업 참여동기 및 참여자의 개인적 특성 특히, 경제적 수준과 교육수준 등에 의해 노인일자리사업의 만족도, 사회참여수준, 주관적 효과성에 차이가 있었다. 아울러 노인일자리사업 참여 유형 가운데 교육형과 시장형 참여자들의 만족도와 사회참여수준, 효과성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상을 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 노인의 특성을 반영한 다양한 일자리 개발 노력과 함께 교육형 및 시장형의 확대, 체계적인 효과성 평가, 노인일자리사업의 경제적 보상 수준 현실화 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study explored the satisfaction, the level of social participation, and the subjective effectiveness of the participants of the senior employment promotion project implemented by The Ministry of Health and Welfare to secure the supplementary income, to increase the social participation of the elderly, which started based on the consciousness of insufficient assesment of the wide scope of the senior employment promotion project that provides jobs to the elderly. The results showed that the satisfaction, the level of social participation, and the subjective effectiveness of the participants of the senior employment promotion project were influenced by the motivational level, the personal characteristics, especially the level of income and education. Also, among the subtypes of the senior employment promotion project, the education and market type was high on the satisfaction, the level of social participation, and the subjective effectiveness of the participants. On the basis of the results, it was suggested that it is necessary to the effort and research to develop the suitable jobs for the participants, to realize economic rewards and to expand the education and market type of the senior employment promotion project.
