국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 일치감이 스트레스와 우울간의 관계에서 매개효과를 가지는지 혹은 상호작용효과를 가지는지를 검증하기 위해 실행되었다. 조사는 부산지역에 거주하는 288명의 노인을 대상으로 이뤄졌고, 측정도구는 우울척도(CES-D), Antonovsky의 일치감척도, 사회재적응 평가척도를 활용하였다. 그리고 자료 분석은 t검증, 일원분산분석, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하였다. 이를 통해 나타난 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일치감은 교육정도가 높거나 경제수준이 높은 경우, 배우자와 동거하고 있는 경우 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 스트레스는 우울에 직접 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 일치감과의 부적관계를 통해 우울에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 나타났다. 따라서 일치감은 스트레스와 우울과의 관계에서 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 스트레스와 우울간의 관계에서 일치감은 상호작용효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과의 시사점과 제한점이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

This study was performed to investigate the mediating and moderating effects of the sense of coherence on the relationship between the elderly's stress and depression. The research participants were 288 elderly in Pusan and the measurement scales used were CES-D scale, Orientation to Life Questionnaire, the Social Readjustment rating scale. This study utilized t-test, one way ANOVA, and Structural Equation Model for the data analysis. The results of the research were as follow. First, it was found the sense of coherence was significant the higher level of the education or economic status, group with spouse. Second, depression was negatively related with stress when it was to the simple model without mediating factor. However, with the sense of coherence included in the models as mediating factor, the stress influenced the sense of coherence, and this influenced on the depression. Third, the moderating effects of the sense of coherence in the relation to the stress and depression was not significant. The implication and limitations of the study were discussed along with some suggestion for future researches and practices.
