국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 베이비부머의 여가중심 라이프스타일, 은퇴준비 및 부부 여가활동이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 2010년 전국 인구조사 표본틀에 기초하여 전국 대도시 중심 15개 지역에 거주하는 베이비부머 1,021명을 대상으로 2011년 10월 3일부터 11월 30일까지 비례할당표본 추출을 실시하였다. 이중 배우자가 있는 965명을 대상으로 AMOS 통계프로그램 20.0을 활용하여 구조방정식 모형을 검증하였다. 연구가설모형 검증 결과, 여가중심 라이프스타일은 은퇴준비와 부부 여가활동에 영향을 미쳤고, 은퇴교육 여부를 제외한 은퇴준비와 부부 여가활동은 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 편향수정 부트스트래핑 방법을 활용하여 연구가설 모형의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 여가중심 라이프스타일이 은퇴준비 행위에 영향을 미칠 때, 은퇴준비 인식과 부부 여가활동이 유의한 매개효과를 보이지 않았고, 여가중심 라이프스타일이 은퇴준비 교육에 영향을 미칠 때 은퇴준비 인식이 유의한 매개효과를 보이지 않았다. 이외 연구가설모형에서 은퇴준비(인식, 교육, 행위)와 부부 여가활동은 유의한 매개효과를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구는 100세 시대를 맞이하여 베이비부머가 활기찬 노후를 맞이할 수 있도록, 현재 베이비부머의 라이프스타일 탐색 및 은퇴준비와 노후대비 부부 여가활동의 중요성을 강조하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This paper explores the effects of a leisure lifestyle, retirement preparation, and leisure activities with a spouse on the lifestyle satisfaction of baby boomers. The study was conducted from Oct 3, 2011, to Nov 30, 2011, with a sample of 965 baby boomers living with their spouses in 15 large cities across the country. Proportional quota sampling that employed residential listings from 2010 population census of Korea was used. Structural equation modeling(SEM) using AMOS 20.0 showed the followings. A lifestyle that revolved around leisure significantly affected retirement planning and free time with a spouse. Except for education on retirement planning, the baby boomers' degree of life satisfaction was significantly affected by factors such as retirement planning and leisure activities in the presence of a partner. An examination of the mediating effect obtained through bias-corrected bootstrapping with SEM, showed while baby boomers' leisure-oriented lifestyle affected retirement planning, their awareness of retirement preparation and leisure activities with a spouse did not have indirect effects on the same. In addition, while baby boomers' leisure-oriented lifestyle affected education on retirement preparation, their awareness of retirement preparation did not change. However, baby boomers' retirement preparation(i.e., their awareness, education, and planning) and free time with a partner significantly functioned as mediators on other paths of the hypothetical model. The conclusion discussed the importance of a leisure life style, retirement preparation, and leisure activities with a spouse as their specific ways of being active aging after retirement for baby boomers is now expected to live to 100.
