공동연구개발 특성과 재참여 의사와의 관계에서 전담기관 조정기능의 조절효과와 성과만족도의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 공동연구개발 특성이 공동연구 재참여 의사에 미치는 영향을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 연구에 사용된 구성개념(변수)들은 선행연구 및 문헌연구를 참고하여 선정하였는데, 공동연구개발의 2가지 특성 중 기관특성은 과제의 전략적 중요성, 공동작업 참여경험, 파트너 관계의 신뢰성, 의사결정 참여정도를 사용하였고, 파트너특성은 지식 및 정보공유, 협력과정 및 결과활용의 구체성을 사용하였다. 공동연구 성과로는 성과만족도를 사용하였고, 전담기관 역할로는 조정기능을, 공동연구 재참여 결정은 재참여 의사를 사용하였다. 실증분석을 위해 지식경제부 산업융합원천기술개발사업 중 정부출연연구기관인 E연구원과 기술혁신주체(기업, 대학, 연구소 등)가 2009년부터 2011년까지 공동으로 수행한 공동연구개발사업의 연구책임자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 회수된 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 실증분석 결과 공동연구개발 특성 중 하나인 기관특성 중에서는 과제의 전략적 중요성과 의사결정의 참여정도가, 파트너특성 중에서는 협력과정 및 결과활용의 구체성이 공동연구 성과만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 전담기관 조정기능은 공동연구 특성과 성과만족도 사이에서 조절변수로서 역할을 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성과만족도는 공동연구 재참여 의사에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 마지막으로 공동연구 성과만족도는 과제의 전략적 중요성, 지식 및 정보공유, 협력과정 및 결과활용의 구체성과 공동연구 재참여 의사간의 관계에 있어 매개변수 기능을 하는 것으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

In this study, we assessed the relationship between cooperative R&D characteristics and re-participation intent. The constructs were selected based on previous studies. For institutional characteristics, the following variables were used: the strategic importance of a project, participation experience in cooperative R&D, partner reliability, and participation in decision making. Knowledge/information sharing and concreteness of the cooperation process/results were employed as partner characteristics. Performance satisfaction was used to measure the performance of the cooperative R&D, specialized institutions control in relation to their regulatory role, and the re-participation intent regarding next cooperative R&D. We distributed questionnaires to the research directors of companies, universities, and research facilities who had conducted cooperative R&D with a Public Research Institute between 2009 and 2011. The results showed that the strategic importance of a project, participation in decision making, the cooperation process, and concreteness of the results had a positive influence on the performance satisfaction of the cooperative R&D. As a moderator, specialized institutions′ control did not have any influence on the relationship between cooperative R&D characteristics and performance satisfaction. In addition, performance satisfaction had a positive influence on next cooperative R&D re-participation intent. Finally, the performance satisfaction had a mediating effect between the strategic importance of a project, knowledge/information sharing, concreteness of the cooperation process/results and the next cooperative R&D participation intent.
