국문 초록

학교공동체는 개인과 조직의 협동적 과정 속에서 변화를 모색하기 위해 교사의 전문성 신장과 수업 개선에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 하지만 국내에서 논의 중인 학교공동체는 학교변화와 혁신의 당위성을 강조하고 있으나 이론적 근거 및 실행 전략에 일부 한계를 노정하고 있다. 이러한 문제의식에 기초하여 본 연구에서는 미래지향적 학교공동체 형성을 위한 대안적 관점에서 학습조직(learning organization)이론을 제시하고자 한다. 학교의 학습조직화는 조직의 역동성과 유기성(有機性)을 구현하기 위해 보다 구체화된 미래의 학교공동체 모습일 뿐만 아니라 전문성 신장을 위해 실천되고 있는 현재 진행의 실체(reality)이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미래지향적인 학교공동체 형성을 위한 예비적 연구로서 학습조직이론을 탐색하고 그에 따른 과제와 시사점을 논의하고자 한다.

영문 초록

School community has a large impact on the development and improvement of classroom instruction. In this context, this study suggests professional learning community as alternative to realize future-oriented school community and practice of learning organization as catalysts to facilitate building professional learning community. Therefore, as a preliminary study, this research aims to explore a basic philosophy of school community, the theory of school-based professional learning community and learning organization, as well as to ruminate school reality. The findings noted that the initial object of change in education is not students, the classroom, or the system; it is the attitudes and conceptions of educators themselves. this remind that education is not a matter of things; it is a people situation. Not just administrator, parents, community but also the groups of people that most influence on learning in school- the educators and learners. There is a need for closer cooperation among various fields in society, trust and cooperation among school and educational key players, developing better school education.
