일본의 생활개선운동과 여성의 자립

국문 초록

본 논문은 일본의 생활개선운동의 형성과 전개, 사례연구를 통해 여성의 경제적 자립의 실태와 교육적 의의를 고찰하고 우리나라 농촌여성교육에 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 검토결과, 여성의 자립은 여성그룹에서 실시된 여성 자신의 자기교육 활동과 동료 간의 상호교육활동을 통해 실현되어 왔다. 특히, 여성그룹의 원동력이된 기업 활동은 여성이 주체가 되어 경영을 맡고, 여성 자신의 수입에 이어지는 경제활동을 실천함에 따라, 개인의 경제적 자립의 획득과 자기실현을 가능케 하였다. 또한, 지역사회와 지역경제 활성화의 기폭제 역할을 함과 동시에 여성의 사회적 지위와 생활의 질을 향상시키는 계기가 되었다. 즉, 생활개선운동에 있어서 여성의 자립은 일상생활 속에서 학습활동으로부터 배운 임파워먼트의 실현에서 창출되며, 스스로가 주체적으로 생활 활동을 실천하는 것을 자립이라고 말할 수 있었다. 이상의 결론에 의거하여, 여성을 인격체로서 존중하는 인격교육과 인권행정제도의 확립을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study contemplates an educational signification and the actual condition of economic independence of woman that suggests the issue of education of rural woman through the form, development and precedent study from movement for the improvement of living conditions. As the result of the investigate, Independence of woman has been realized by the woman self-education activity and through the activity of mutual education among co-workers which was enforced in women's Group. Starting a business activity, in particular, woman-self assumed the administration that practiced the economic activity with their own income. It enables the gains economic independence of individual and selfactualization. Moreover, it was served as a momentum that not only gave the rule of an initial explosive of activation of the local economy and community but improve of quantity of living and social standing of woman. In other words, independence of women from the improvement of living conditions is created from realization of empowerment which have learned from the learning activity through daily life that it is said the independence that self practices the living movement. Accordance with the conclusion, suggested the structure construction of the education of woman that one respects as personality and the establishment of human rights administration system.
