민간 시큐리티 관리자들의 리더십 유형에 관한 연구

국문 초록

한국 민간시큐리티 산업은 날로 증가추세에 있으며, 장래의 유망산업으로 분류되어 발전하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 민간시큐리티 산업의 질적 성장에 있어서는 개선되고 극복되어야 할 여러 문제점들을 내포하고 있다. 시큐리티 산업의 영세성 자체는 물론이고 관리자들의 경영이나 운영의 방법에 있어서도 다소의 문제점들이 도출되기도 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 민간시큐리티 관리자들의 리더십 유형을 살펴봄으로서 시큐리티 산업의 질적 성장을 가늠해 보고자 한다. 연구방법은 통합 창원시와 인근에 사업체를 둔 민간시큐리티 관리자들을 대상으로 리더십 설문조사를 실시하여 그들의 경영관리 패턴을 리더십 그리드 (leadership grid) 모형에 적용시켜 과업과 관계성(task and relationship)을 측정하는 방법으로 하였다. 연구결과 민간시큐리티 업체에 종사하는 관리자들의 리더십 대부분은 과업행동형이 85.5%로서 관계형의 14.7%에 비해 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 과업형 행동은 남성이 여성보다 높았으며, 근속연수가 많을수록 높게 나타났고, 고객/관리업무와 보안/경비업무 부문에서 비교적 높게 나타났다. 과업형 행동은 남성과 여성간에, 근속년수의 높고 낮음에 따라서, 업무에 따라서 차이를 보인다.

영문 초록

Korea in the private security industry is a growing trend, and future development has been classified as a promising industry. Nevertheless, the qualitative growth of the private security industry comes to be improved to be overcome and are subject to several problems. And insufficient security industry itself as well as the administrator of the management or operation of the method even in some of the problems are often drawn. Therefore, this paper gives some insight on the private security managers’ leadership style as weigh the Security Industry to evaluate the quality of growth. A method of integration nearby Changwon, and business leadership based private security managers conducted the survey by targeting their leadership, management grid pattern(leadership grid) model by applying to the tasks and relationships to measure method was Private security companies are engaged in studies of managers The task of leadership behavior most of the relation type is 85.5% compared to 14.7% was found to be relatively high. behavior was higher in men than women, the greater the length of service was high, the customer/management and security/expenses in the business sector is relatively high.
