가족지원 프로그램이 뇌성마비 아동의 신체기능과 지지체계, 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 뇌성마비 장애아동의 가족을 대상으로 가족지원 프로그램이 가족의 지지체계, 양육 스트레스, 뇌성마비 아동의 운동기능에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 연구 대상은 만 4세 미만의 뇌성마비 아동 26명을 대상으로 실험군과 대조군 각각 13명씩 참여하였다. 실험군과 대조군은 24주간 전형적인 물리치료를 받았으며, 실험군은 가족관계 개선과 양육 지식 습득을 위한 가족지원프로그램을 함께 받았다. 각 대상자는 프로그램 전후 가족지지체계, 사회적지지체계, 양육 스트레스, 대동작운동기능 평가를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 가족지지에 있어서 실험군에서 유의한 증가가 있었고, 사회적지지에서는 모두 유의한 변화가 없었다. 두 집단 간의 차이를 비교한 결과, 가족지지와 사회적지지에서 모두 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 양육스트레스의 변화를 살펴본 결과 실험군에서 양육스트레스의 유의한 감소가 있었으며, 두 집단 간에도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대동작 운동기능의 변화에서는 실험군과 대조군에서 모두 유의한 증가가 있었고, 두 집단 간에도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이와 같은 결과로, 뇌성마비 아동의 가족지원 프로그램이 부모의 양육스트레스 경감과 대동작 운동기능에 의미있는 효과를 제시하고 있으므로 뇌성마비 아동의 재활에 유용한 근거를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to determine the effectiveness of family support program in improving gross motor function, parenting stress, and support system in children with cerebral palsy. The subject were 26 children with cerebral palsy, who were in the age of below 4 years and were divided into two groups. Both group had conventional physical therapy for 24 weeks. Experimental group had participated additional family support program. GMFM-66, family support questionnaire, social support questionnaire, and parenting stress questionnaire were measured before and after the program. The results were as follows. A significant improvement of family support function was seen in the experimental group, but there was not significant difference between the two groups. A significant decrease of parenting stress was seen in the experimental group, and there significant difference between the two groups, A significant improvement of gross motor function was seen in the both groups, and there was significant difference between the two groups. This study suggests that family support program can affect the decrease of parenting stress and improvement of gross motor function. therefore, the result provides a useful ground in the rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy.
