국문 초록

이 시뮬레이션 연구에서는 불균형 표본크기와 비정규분 범주화 자료가 구인 동등성 측정을 위한 다집단 확인적 요인분석 모수 추정에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위해 범주의 개수, 전체 표본의 수, 불균형 표본 비율, 비정규분포의 수준의 조건들이 고려되었다. 또한 다집단 확인적 요인분석 추정의 정확성을 검사하기 위해서 maximum likelihood(ML)와 weighted least squares mean and variance adjusted(WLSMV), 두 추정 방법이 사용되었다. 모의실험 결과 상대편의 Relative Bias 와 표준오차는 불균형 표본 형태와 비정규분포에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 그룹의 수가 증가할수록, 상대편의와 표준오차에 영향이 작아지는 경향을 보였다. 일반적으로 WLSMV 추정방법을 사용하였을 경우에 ML에 비해, 적은 상대편의를 나타냈다.

영문 초록

This simulation study examines how unequal sample sizes and non-normally distributed categorical data affect factor loading parameter estimates in detecting a lack of measurement equivalence using multi-group confirmatory factor analysis (MG-CFA). The following conditions were examined: number of score categories, total sample size, sample size ratio, and degree of non-normality. Two estimation procedures were used to test the accuracy of MG-CFA model estimation: maximum likelihood (ML) and weighted least squares mean and variance adjusted (WLSMV). The relative bias of parameter estimates and standard error were found to be sensitive to sample size ratios and degree of non-normality between the groups. As the total sample size increased, the relative biases tended to function independently of those factors. In general, use of WLSMV estimation resulted in less bias as compared to ML estimation.
