국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 국가수준 체육과 교육과정의 개발과 적용과정에서 발생하는 ‘간극’의 실체를 파악함은 물론, 이를 극복할 수 있는 구체적 대안마련의 여건을 조성하기 위함이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 이 연구는 제 7차와 2007년 개정 체육과 교육과정의 개발 및 적용 경험이 있는 총 8명의 연구 참여자들에 대한 인터뷰와 연구저널의 내용을 바탕으로 체육과 교육과정 개발과 적용과정의 경험과 이러한 과정 사이에 내재되어 있는 다양한 형태의 간극 요인과 이에 대한 대응방안을 밝혀내고자 하였다. 간극에 관한 과정별 요인들은 체육과 교육과정 개발과 적용의 전체과정을 ‘연구⋅개발단계’, ‘보완단계’, ‘보급단계’, '수용단계‘, 실행단계’ 등의 5단계로 나누고 각각의 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 간극의 요인을 구체적으로 검토해 나갔으며 이에 대한 각각의 구체적 대응방안을 함께 제시하였는데, 이러한 과정별 요인 분석은 체육과 교육과정의 개발과 적용과정을 ‘총체적 관점’으로 바라보는 가운데 순차적 흐름과 체계성 속에서 간극의 문제를 조망할 수 있도록 하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study covers the development process of the National Physical Education(P.E.) Curriculum and its application in many curricula according to city and province offices of education, and various schools and classes based on a holistic view. In order to analyze and understand this narrative inquiry, qualitative research emphasizing the subjects' experiences is used. The purpose of the research is to recognize the diversity and complexity of the process inherent in developing and applying the P.E. curriculum. Through this, the ultimate goal is to pinpoint the disharmony caused by the gaps and its countermeasures in the development and application of the P.E. curriculum following each revision. To achieve the purpose of this study, qualitative research was used on 8 participants who have developed and applied the 7th National P.E. Curriculum and the 2007 revised P.E. Curriculum. The purpose was to identify how the P.E. Curriculum was developed and applied, the causes of the various gaps which occurred between research processes, and to seek a countermeasure as a solution. The conclusions were as follows ; The factors that influence the generation gaps of the P.E. curriculum can be divided into three process factors. the process factor of the generation gap divides the entire process of curricular development and application into five stages: research and development, supplementation, diffusion, adaptation, and implementation. The potential generation gap factors that may occur in each separate stage are well explained. Such an analysis of the process factor makes it possible to anticipate the problems of the generation gap in the regular sequence of the development and application of the P.E. curriculum in a holistic way.
