국문 초록

본 연구는 평가인증 참여 보육시설 시설장과 교사의 평가인증 참여 후 보육의 질 향상과 유지에 대한 인식 조사를 통해 다음 단계의 평가인증이 효율적으로 정착되는데 시사점을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울과 경기지역 보육시설 시설장과 보육교사 90명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과 첫째, 평가인증 참여 후 보육의 질 향상에 대해 높게 평가하고 있었으며 보육시설 특성과 교사의 특성에 따른 차이는 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 평가인증 참여 후 보육의 질 유지에 대해서도 높게 평가하고 있었으며 보육시설 특성과 교사의 특성에 따른 차이는 보이지 않았다. 셋째, 보육의 질 유지에 있어 장애요인으로는 시간과 인력부족, 교사의 이직, 경제적 부담, 학부모와 인증 비참여 교사의 인식 부족, 재교육 부족을 들고 있으며 이에 따른 재정지원, 처우개선, 서류의 간소화, 전문성 향상을 위한 실질적 교사교육을 개 선점으로 들고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to give the information that the following accreditation would be effective through the investigation of the perception about improvement and maintenance of quality of child care. In this study, the subjects were 90 child care teachers in Seoul metropolitan area. The data gathered were analyzed with the SPSS/PC Computer Program. The results of this study were as follows; Firstly, child care teachers evaluated high about the improvement on quality of child care after participating in accreditation system. But the difference of characteristic of a type of child care center and child care teachers was not indicated. Secondly, child care teachers evaluated high about the maintenance on quality of child care after participated in accreditation system and difference wqs not shown by the characteristics of child care center and child care teachers. Thirdly, the barriers in keeping the quality of child care were the shortage of time and work force, high turnover rate, economic burden, lack of understanding of parents and non-involved teachers and lack of supportive training after accreditation process. Therefore, measures such as financial support, better working conditions, simplication of papers and practical inservice training for professional development are required for improvement.
