영문 초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate the realities and preferences for a type of campus wear, the differences between the general life style variables and clothing behavior variables among school uniformed students and non-uniformed students, to explore the purchasing tendency of clothing to boys’ high school students.
The questionnaires were administered to samples of four boys’ high school in Kwangju. The data from 253 respondants were studied using Frequency, T-test, and Pearson’s Correlation.
The result were :
1. Most of schools are to have a school uniform soon but show preference for a free wear for campus wear.
2. There were partly significant difference between general life style variables (leadership and social attitude (P<.01), advertisement confidence (P<.01), advertisement confidence(P<.05)), among school uniform students and free wear students.
3. There were partly significant differences between the clothing behavior variables (psychological dependence (P<.05), comfort (P<.05), atmosphere of the store(P<.01))among school uniform students and free wear students.
4. The correlation between general life style variables and clothing variables among school uniform group and free wear group marked partly positive correlation except clothing comformity and clothing modesty.
5. The 71.5% of the subject group planned their clothing purchase in advance, and atmosphere of store affected clothing buying behaviors more than other fashion information sources. The store in which the subject group purchased clothing most frequently was a specialty fashion store. In clothing selection, aesthetic factors were shown as important factor and the most affecting mass media is T.V.
