국문 초록

이 논문은 안병무의 기독론을 예수의 인격과 사역의 두 구별된 개념을 적용하여, 특별히 박형룡과 이종성의 기독론과 비교하면서 제시하고 평가하는 목적을 갖는다. 일반적으로 말해서, 박형룡과 이종성은 그들의 기독론을 니케아, 에베소, 칼세돈의 기독론과 같은 맥락에서 형성하였다. 그러나 방법론적으로 안병무는 자신의 기독론 이해를 위에서 언급했던 에큐메니칼 공의회의 기독론과 분리시킨 후, 예수를 유대교적인 배경을 고려하면서 정치, 경제, 그리고 사회적 상황과 관련한 해방자로서 묘사하였다. 또한 한국인 신학자로서 그는 예수를 1970년대의 한국 상황으로부터 파악하려고 노력하였다. 그의 관점에 따르면, 1세기의 팔레스틴의 상황은 1960-80년대의 한국적 상황과 거의 유사하다. 기독론과 관련하여, 안병무는 예수의 참 신성과 참 인성을 부인하였고, 예수를 하나님을 향한 한 신실한 인간으로 제안하였다. 하나님의 뜻을 따라서 예수는 가난한 자들, 억눌린 자들, 버려진 자들에게 하나님의 통치를 도래케 하기 위하여 노력하였다. 실제로 예수는 자신을 그런 사람들과 동일시하였고, 그들에게 해방을 가져오도록 하기 위하여 노력하였다. 예수는 십자가에서 죄인의 내포적 대표로서 죽은 것이 아니라, 제자들과 사람들을 예수 자신이 살았던 동일한 길을 따라 살도록 하는 본보기로서 죽었다. 예수의 길을 따르는 사람들로 인하여 해방은 이 세상에서도 계속된다. 이런 방식으로 안병무는 성경적 핵심과 기독론에 대한 공교회의 합의로부터 떠나갔다. 마침내, 그의 손에서 예수는 사람들의 죄를 제거하기 위하여 성육신하신 하나님의 독생자가 아니라, 해방된 세계를 꿈꾼 한 순전한 사람으로 드러났다. 필자는 안병무의 기독론 이해로부터, 그는 기독교인이 아니라는 결론을 도출했다. 그는 하나님과 인간 사이의 중보자로서 예수를 믿지 않는다. 달리 말하여, 그는 우리 죄를 자신에게, 또한 그의 의와 영생을 우리에게 전가하는 중보자로 예수를 받아들이지 않는다.

영문 초록

This article aimed to evaluate Ahn Byoung Moo’s christology from two distinguished points, namely, person and work of Jesus Christ, especially in relation to Hyeong Yong Park’s and Chong Sung Lee’s christology. Generally speaking, Hyeong Yong Park and Chong Sung Lee formulated their christology in line with christology made by Nicaea, Ephesus, and Chalcedon councils, However, methodologically, Ahn Byoung Moo detached his understanding on christology from the above mentioned ecumenical councils’ christology, and then described Jesus from the Judaism background as a liberator in relation to political, economical and social circumstances. And then, as a korean theologian he tried to see Jesus from 1970’s Korean situation. In his view, 1st century Palestinian situation is almost similar with 1960’- 80’s Korean situation. In relation to Christology Ahn Byoung Moo denied the true divinity and true humanity of Jesus, and then suggested Jesus as a sincere person orientated toward God. According to God’s will, Jesus tried to bring God’s dominion over the poor, the oppressed and the outcasted. Indeed Jesus identified himself with those people, and tried to bring social liberation to them. He died on the cross not as an inclusive representative of sinners, but as an moral exemplar to motivate his disciples and people to follow the same way that he lived. By the people who follow Jesus' way liberation goes on and on in this world. In this way Ahn Byoung Moo went away from the biblical acme and ecumenical consensus of Christology. Finally, in his hands, Jesus was turned out not as the begotten Son of God incarnated to take away sins from his people, but as the mere person dreamed the liberated world. The present writer drew the conclusion from Ahn's understanding of christology that he is not a christian. Indeed, Ahn does not believe in Jesus as the Mediator between God and sinners. In other words, Ahn does not accept Jesus as the Mediator who imputes our sins to Himself and who imputes His righteousness and eternal life to us as well.
